Commands covered: +CTHINK, +INFO, +LANG, +MA, +NOTES, +SPEAK, +WHO
+CTHINK -----------------------[ Champions MUSH 2.0: +HELP ]------------------------- The +CTHINK command works just like +THINK, but sends your thought balloon to a channel rather than emitting it to the room you are in. You must be ON the channel to use +CTHINK on it. The syntax is +CTHINK <chan> = <thought>, where <chan> is the channel you want to +cthink to and <thought> is whatever text you want in the thought balloon. You can use the first few letters of a channel name rather than the entire channel name. eg, to +cthink to the Newbie channel, you would do +CTHINK NEW = <thought> Usage: +CTHINK <chan> = <thought> -----------------------------------------------------------------------------
& +INFO
& +NOTES
-----------------------[ Champions MUSH 2.0: +HELP ]-------------------------
The +INFO and +NOTES commands show additional information relating to the
room where the commands are executed if such information exists. Only a
few rooms are going to have such additional information. In rooms where
additional information is provided this will be indicated by the presence
of +INFO and/or +NOTES appearing after the name of the room at the top of
the room description. To view the additional information in a room simply
type +INFO or +NOTES in the room.
Usage: +INFO
+NOTES
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
+LANG
-----------------------[ Champions MUSH 2.0: +HELP ]-------------------------
The +LANG command allows you to pose while speaking in another language.
Note that it is not 'game aware'. You can pose any language you want, and
everyone in the room will hear and understand it OOCly (out-of-character).
You shouldn't use this command unless your character has the language that
is stated, and if you are in a room where this command is used it is your
job to ensure you do not act on anything said in another language unless
your character has knowledge of that language.
To use the command type +LANG <language> = [:|;]<text>, where <language>
is the language you are using and <text> is what you are saying in that
language.
Example: +lang Mandarin = :yells, "Hello, mother."
Result: [In Mandarin] Chessack yells, "Hello, mother."
Usage: +LANG <language> = <action pose> (Also see +SPEAK)
+LANG <language> = :<action pose> (Pose style)
+LANG <language> = ;<action pose> (Semi-pose style)
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
& +MA -----------------------[ Champions MUSH 2.0: +HELP ]------------------------- The +MA command lists all of the various martial arts maneuvers, and their respective costs, OCV and DCV bonuses and penalties, and their effect. You can purchase any single maneuver for the listed cost, and you may then use it as a valid combat maneuver in hand-to-hand combat. You must have a minimum of 10pts worth of martial arts maneuvers if you have martial arts for your character. So you cannot buy just one martial maneuver in character generation. In powerups you can buy additonal maneuvers one at a time provided you already have 10pts worth of martial arts maneuvers, or buy a package of at least 10pts of martial arts maneuvers to start with. Usage: +MA -----------------------------------------------------------------------------
+SPEAK
-----------------------[ Champions MUSH 2.0: +HELP ]-------------------------
The +SPEAK command allows you to easily pose speaking in another language.
To use the command type +SPEAK <language> = <text>, where <language> is
the language you are using and <text> is what you are saying in that
language. Note that you cannot 'pose' or 'semipose' with +speak (If you
wish to do that see +LANG).
Example: +speak Mandarin = Hello, mother.
Result: Chessack says [in Mandarin]: "Hello, mother."
Usage: +SPEAK <language> = <text> (Also see +LANG)
+SP <language> = <text>
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
& +who -----------------------[ Champions MUSH 2.0: +HELP ]------------------------- The lower-case '+who' command is a special command that allows players to view who is currently connected. Unlike the capital 'WHO' command, which is common to all MUSHes, 'who' has been programmed specifically with information that is (hopefully) more useful to you. This includes the status (eg. IC, OOC) of the connected players, their alias , their idle time, and their 'doing.' You can set any 'doing' you want (35 character limit) by typing &doing me=<whatever> and it will appear in the connected players list whenever someone types 'who'. For specific current locations of all players, see +HELP +WHERE. Usage: +WHO -----------------------------------------------------------------------------
