The self-titled Allied Champions of Earth, or A.C.E. (also known simply as ACE) are a diverse group of superhumans with a common agenda that keeps them together. In general, they oppose any activity that will or may lead to Earth's eventual entry into the Galactic Civilization. In practice, they commit acts of violence and destruction, which has earned them the labels of 'anarchists' and 'terrorists'. What makes this group unique, other than their anti-extraterrestrial stance, is the widely-differing backgrounds of its members. They come from several different nations, many of them revered as heroes once or still by their homelands. A few are acknowledged criminals. Some were unknown before their membership. Their reasons for joining this cause are many and varied, but they one and all see themselves as acting to shield Earth from the subtle and sinister machinations of a predatory alliance bent on subjugating our planet.

ACE does not have any standard equipment.

Split

In 2058 ACE underwent a split into two factions, one (sometimes calling itself ACHE - Allied Champions of Humans Everywhere) not considering extradimensional humans to be aliens, and the other (RACE - Real Allied Champions of Earth) considering them to be so. RACE members include Conviction, Crystal, Vector and Decibel and ACHE members include Brainchild and Rancid.

• Decibel, Conviction, Crystal and Vector attack the Colonial Bay Opera Company's production of Bizet-1058's Euridice; Brainchild and Rancid try to stop them (JUN 2058AD)
