In times long past this graceful colonial-era edifice served as home to William Nichols, one of Colonial Bay's founding fathers. Built some years before the Revolution, the home's lavish scale and majestic appointments are still clearly distinguishable, nowhere more so than in the ballroom that to this day plays host to some of the Bay's grandest and most exclusive social events. The majority of the hotel significantly post-dates the original structure but has been meticulously designed to complement its elegant grandeur while affording its guests the highest standards in luxury.

Located immediately overlooking North Beach itself, the Beach Hotel has historically provided the guiding aesthetic by which the district is so strongly marked.
