Dubbed the Black Sheep Samaritans by the press, the team has a somewhat mystical aspect, but it is essentially a Meta version of a neighborhood watch that specializes in "grey ops" missions; doing whatever it takes to get the job done, reguardless of legal nicities. Many of it's members have reputations as "black sheep" heroes, but they're not just a bunch of thugs. They work to "reclaim the night", to make it safe... looking out for the little guys while the "real" heroes are busy saving the world. The team is led by Fate. Other team members include Dancing Coyote, Lady Luck, Dark Horse, Fist, and Shoro.
