Boardwalk Amusement Park

Set in the precincts of North Beach beside the boardwalk, this extensive arcade boasts a modest ferris wheel, tilt-a-whirl and a host of other rides, in addition to stalls purvey candy, hot dogs and other traditional carnival fare. Rows of tented pavilions also play host to a bevy of games of chance and skill, offering an array of prizes which are often seen in the possessive clutches of small children.

Great care has been taken to preserve the cultured aesthetic of the district as a whole, the carnival's design and decor clearly aiming for the same air of tastefully subdued nostalgia. At night the park and surrounding boardwalk are cheerfully ablaze with flickering illumination that stretches smoothly rippling ribbons of light across the waves of the bay.
