Lorelei doesn't head to be bodyguard floating up among the rafters. :)

There are six bodyguards in all. Two of them are knocked out on the dance floor. The other four are up and the second level of the club and all of them are kncked out, save for the bodyguard stuck to the ceiling like a stray balloon.

Lorelei says, "Hm, unhelpful."

Wasp flies up to the bodyguard bobbing on the ceiling. "You're going to cooperate aren't you?" she asks him.

The inflated man twists, trying to see who's talking to him. He's stuck, facing up with his belly against the ceiling. His limbs seem to be pressurized to a degree where there's not much bend to them. "Who...?" There's a tremble to his voice; he sounds a little frightened.

Wasp flies around to where the floating bodyguard can see her. "If these are the same pills as your boss has been selling the effects will wear off. Untill then stay relaxed." she tells him. "I'm going to fly you down from here. My friend has some questions for you."

"Yeah... that's what he'd said..." the man says. "They wear off."

Wasp takes hold and flies him down to where Lorelei is, "I don't think taking him out of the club is a good move. Let's keep a roof over his head. There must be a back room."

Lorelei says, "Right. Let's go find it."

The back room is at the end of a hallway that leads past the restrooms. It's a tight fit, but you can squeeze the man into the office.

Lorelei smiles at the man as we reach the room - actually, she's done that a bit on the way as well. "Well, lets just come down to it, shall we? We need to know where your boss - Captain Jack as he seems to be know - can be found."

The bodyguard has calmed down somewhat during the trip to the back room. "I'm not going to tell you anything," he says flatly.

"Oh now, that is a shame," says Lorelei. "Because in case you haven't noticed there's a dangerous meta after your boss for some reason and we can't help him if we can't find him." Lorlei figures that Jack is long gone, so the immediate urgency is gone - the important thing to do is get results. She tries a slower approach - trying to get the guy to like her before proceeding with questioning - and adjusts her attitude accordingly.

"The Captain doesn't need your help." The man says. "He's been in a lot tighter situations than this one."

Lorelei says, "Are you sure? I mean, he ran away at the first sign of trouble, and left you to watch his back.... That didn't work out very well, did it? Are you ok?"

The man smiles, "We all knew the deal, going in. Just who are you, anyway?"

Lorelei looks hurt. "You don't know me? I'm shocked." And she begins removing her disguise, to show her full beauty in all her glory. "I'm one of the most famous faces in the world - Lorelei!" She looks straight at the guy and smiles, one of her winning ad smiles. "And if you don't help me and your boss and tell us where I can find your boss," (she strikes a pose calculated to reduce bloodflow to the brain) "you'll have missed your one and only chance in your lifetime to impress me!"//Mind Control, pushed to 13d6. Maybe PRE attack too for the dramatic removal of disguise? :)

"You see, me and my pals," the man says. "We're professionals -- we don't scare easy. In fact -- erk --?!" Midway through his sentence, the man goes slack-jawed looking at Lorelei eyes as big as saucers. "Lorelei..." he says slowly. "The Captain is going for the stash..."

Lorelei doesn't look away from the guy an instant. "And where's the stash?"

"The Docks... Container Yard..." The man continues and describe the section of the yard and the container number of the stash.

Wasp quietly makes notes in the background.

Lorelei says, "Do you think he'll have people with him? he left in kind of a hurry!"

"Maybe... We've been sniffed out here. Anybody who make make it, is to meet at the boat for extraction to Bermuda." Lorelei gives Wasp a glance as if to say 'anything else we need to know?'

Wasp mouths the words, 'name of the boat?'

Lorelei says, "Oh - what's the boat called?"

"The Mercury," he says. "Registered in Bermuda."

Wasp nods to Lorelei. "You're a star."

Lorelei gives the guy a kiss on the cheek - well, he deserves something, and a hug won't really work. "Thanks - you've be a great help - a real hero in my book!" Exaggeration, but maybe it'll at least make the guy consider mending his ways....

[To Wasp] Lorelei says, "We have a boat to catch."

Outside in the main dance floor you can hear some commotion, multiple people moving about, talking. One voice seems to be audible above the others, perhaps directing that activity.

Lorelei says, "Either the police have arrived or the others have woken up...."

Wasp listens to the noise from the dance floor. "Yes. I'll go see which it is." and then she sneaks on foot to go take a look.

On the main floor of the club, uniformed police officers have come in and are beginning to take the bodyguards into custody. In the center of the room, there's a man who has the appearance of a plainclothes cop, and he seems to be directing the uniforms and telling them what to do.

Lorelei goes out to join Wasp, making sure she looks properly like Lorelei.

Wasp grows to full size and steps forward. "Evening. I'm Wasp. These unconscious gentlemen are minions of a drug dealer who were attacked by a light using villain."

The plainclothes cop calls out. "If any of them are still awake, I want to know. Also there should be one more of them. Find him..." He looks over towards the Wasp and Lorelei as they both come into view.

Plainclothes asks, "Where'd you two come from?"

Wasp points towards the back room. "There another in there. He's floating so we moved him into a room with a lower ceiling."

The lead cop walks over to Wasp. "Is he still conscious? Have you talked to him?"

Wasp says, "I was looking for the drug dealer I've already mentioned. But before I could do anything he was attacked by an unknown meta villain. Yes, the other bodyguard is conscious."

The man walks over to Wasp and offers his hand for a shake. "Kelly Cafferty, Defense Intelligence. I'm on the trail of the drug dealer that your ran into tonight. It's important that you tell me everything you know about the dealer and this meta villain who was after him."

Wasp nods, "Mr Cafferty. A pleasure to meet you." She shakes his hand. "I know the drug dealer as Captain Jake. He's supposed to be ex-military but I cannot confirm that. The pills he is selling confer temporary and frequently uncontrollable meta powers. I've been after him for a while now. I heard he would be at the club here and that turned out to be correct. He had several bodyguards with him..."

Wasp continues..

Wasp says, "Before I could formulate a plan that didn't risk any of the club's members the drug dealer was attacked by a light based meta villain. I cannot give you a description of his face. He had a kind of bowl shaped helmet on that radiated intense light. I spoke briefly to the villain. I believe from what he said tht he has been hired to kill the drug dealer."

Wasp looks at Lorelei, obviously letting her speak about the information she got from the bodyguard if she wishes.

Cafferty says, "I wouldn't be surprised. Your 'Captain Jack' is a rogue special forces operator, turned mercenary. I've been on his trail for weapons trafficking. Maybe one of his clients wasn't happy with his services. Do you have any information on where he might be headed?"

Lorelei says, "The conscious bodyguard told me where Captain Jack will have fled to - the docks, for the stash. The plan is to escape on the Mercury, registered in Bermuda. We got the location in the dockyards too - we were about to go and intercept them."

Cafferty nods. "What are we waiting for here, then. I'll arrange for support with local law enforcement... Set up a perimeter so that he can't slip through. Which container was it?"

Lorelei lets Wasp answer, since she has the notes.

Lorelei thinks . o O (I hope this guy is what he seems....)

Wasp tells Cafferty the container number.

Angstrom nods. "I'm thinking that we might split up -- I can head to the boat and you two can watch the container."

Wasp nods. "Sounds reasonable. Do you have a PDA number so we can contact you?"

Cafferty gives Wasp his number.

Wasp says, "You'll let us know if anything happens? Otherwise we'll see you later." She turns to Lorelei, "Care for a lift?"

Lorelei nods to Wasp. "Please."

Wasp offers Lorelei an arm to hang onto to, wraps the other arm around to support her and flies off towards the docks.

Cafferty beckons for an officer to come towards him. "You, come with me." He nods to Wasp. "Roger that." He heads for the front door, taking the cop with him and saying, "Here's what I need from you..."

Lorelei says, "I think I should give up being subtle. It never seems to work."

Wasp gets outside and flying. Once up in the air, "Lorelei, my PDA is in my thigh pocket. Grab it and give Senator Wilson a call. The number in the address book. Ask the Senator to check on Kelly Cafferty of the Defense Intelligence please and call me back."

Lorelei does as Wasp requests.

The phone is answered after only a couple of rings, "Wasp..?" Clay Wilson's voice is on the other end.

Lorelei says, "This is Lorelei, on Wasp's phone. Senator Wilson? We need some information - could you check on Kelly Cafferty of Defense Intelligence for us? We need to know if he's all he seems."

"Kelly Cafferty, Defense Intelligence." Wilson repeats. "I've heard reports of a shootout at a popular nightclub tonight. I hope you all are well."

Lorelei says, "We're fine, Senator, though Captain Jack got away. We're attempting to intercept him again now, and need to know if we can trust Cafferty. Forgive me, sir, but time is of the essence."

"What's essential is that you get the situation under control... Now, I'll get that information as quick as I can, but I need you to take care of business. " Wilson says.

"Alright?" he asks.

Lorelei says, "Of course, Senator."

"That's what I like to hear. Be careful now." Wilson hangs up.

Lorelei says, "He says we have to get the situation under control and will call back as soon as he has the information. I take it I *was* right you were doubtful about Cafferty too, then?"

Wasp flies around the area holding the container looking for Captain Jack, his men, or the Light guy. She's not feeling like walking in cold.

Wasp says, "Doubtful. No. But that's not going to stop me double checking if that's possible."

Lorelei says, "It'ss the way he said there should be one more got me thinking. Maybe he's just very good at his job to know exact numbers, but it could indicate inside information too."

Wasp nods, "Yes. We'll see. If the ship leaves now I can catch it in US waters for the next hour. We're not in a rush."
