Chesapeake Nuclear Plant

A thermonuclear power-plant located far to the north of Colonial Bay. Originally powered using fissile trans-uranic elements the plant was shutdown after the advent of low-temperature fusion technologies made it redundant. As Colonial Bay's demand for energy subsequently out-grew available supply, the facility was re-fitted and upgraded to exploit the new technology. Though far safer than fission-based energy there remain, as with any large-scale energy-production facility, several significant dangers associated with its operation. As a result the plant is kept secure, well-maintained, and well-monitored.
