The administrative hub of Colonial Bay, the civic center is marked by a collection of imposing and carefully preserved edifices dating from the city's founding in the early nineteenth century. These grand structures are surrounded by a maze-like nimbus of quiet residential streets some of which are home to discrete or long-established businesses that eschew the more glamorous business districts that have more recently come into favour.
