Cliff Worth (in full Clifton Worth) is a professional bodyguard who has been hired by the Avalon Agency for the unlikely task of protecting the superhero - and more importanly, from the agency's point of view, supermodel - Lorelei. That he is more than an ordinary bodyguard is not widely known.

Description
Cliff a young man, tall, dark-haired, strong-featured and well-muscled, and who carries himself with an air of calm confidence. This effect might be aided by the silvered sunglasses he always (at least when working) wears, indoors or out, whether in a suit or dressed casually. Sometimes he seems stiff and serious, sometimes relaxed and jovial, according to situation, but he never seems fazed - but always alert. On duty he dresses either stiffly in a suit, to make his presence obvious, or more casually, to blend in with Lorelei's entourage, as appropriate; he has the looks and style not to seem too far out of place.
Origin
Cliff has a rather secret background. His parents were both superheroes (one a reformed villain); his siblings are superheroes, and he's, well, a disappointment. To be sure he has powers, but they're much less showy than those of his siblings, and indequate for him to enter the family business. To this day, he strives to live up to his family's standards - and keep up with his siblings - despite the enormity of the task. To make things worse, he can't even talk to anyone about this, because of the secret identities involved.
His sense of familial duty turned him to bodyguarding: after all, superheroing is largely about saving lives, and he reckoned that this was an area in which his abilities could be useful; and indeed, he found an employer who agreed, despite his lack of police or military background. However his as yet limited skills and his dislike of weaponry (a family trait) have limited his career. His employer ingeniously matched this unsual bodyguard to the Avalon Agency's unusual need of a bodyguard for a superhero; it remains to be seen how successful this will be.
Powers
Cliff's powers are of precognition, especially of danger. In fact they may naturally be the equal in power to those of his siblings, but at full strength cause him unbearable pain and even harm as he is overwhelmed by dangers across the world; since he was 12 he has worn a suppressing device to keep his powers at a tolerable level (today this is in the form of a medic alert bracelet that warn of some medications that interact badly with his mutant physiology). This ability enables him to anticipate the moves of others in combat and also to advise others so they can better avoid attacks.
Personality
Cliff has not grown up to be quite the grim figure that precognisants often seem to be. To be sure, he has a serious side and can certainly put on a serious face, as he typically does when on the job. But his ability to anticipate danger has given him a certain confidence and willingness to take what would be perceived by others as risks. A more relaxed, fun-loving and even wild side comes through when he's not on duty - and sometimes leaks through in his sense of humour even when he is.
He has a serious crush on Lorelei, which was a factor in his accepting his current position - but he tries to keep this hidden, as it might compromise his job.
Relations
Cliff's private life thus far remains a mystery. His professional relationship with Lorelei started out rather poorly, since she'd found previous bodyguards useless, but she warmed to him as he proved his usefulness.
History
Cliff was Lorelei's bodyguard from late August, 2056 to early September, 2058, when he was dismissed after long being unfit for work due to headaches and near-sleepless nights, seemingly brought on my prophetic dreams.
