Colonial Bay Boardwalk

A broad wooden walkway that runs parallel to Colonial Bay's beach-studded shoreline. protecting the beaches from erosion and other damage that might otherwise be wrought by the enormous volume of visitors and sight-seers. The walk also provides a bulwark protecting the city itself against the encroachments of high tides and storm swells, while offering easy access to the attractions and sights. The constant traffic along its length makes it a prime location for stalls, shops, boutiques, and other attractions, most particularly the amusement park and Boardwalk Mall. The walkway is both robustly built and carefully maintained though constant weathering has given it a pleasantly well-used appearance.
