The Deadly Stingers orignated with Dragonfly and Damselfly who made Wasp the way she is today. Dragonfly and Damselfly also created the members of the Five Deadly Stingers villain team. That team took on the name Deadly Stingers when Dragonfly and Damselfly became the team leaders. The Deadly Stingers are ruthless and dangerous and have been known to attack at anytime. They have kidnapped loved ones of heroes and endlessly pursued recruitment of Wasp into their fold.
