TransMat CEO Office, IC Zone - This office makes it clear the CEO of TransMat is a hands-on engineer rather than an administrator. Two walls are completely covered by wall screens showing the TransMat network and constantly changing status indicators. Another wall has a huge pinboard with electronic and optical schematics stapled in place. Jon Master's desk is cluttered with component parts from a mostly disassembled TransMat portal occupying one corner of the room. Informal meetings take place at a low coffee table with four chairs around it.

Through various means a message has been put out into the hero community asking for heroes to assist the TransMat Company. A date and time for a meeting with Jon Masters, the CEO of the company has been sent to those replying. This is that meeting.

Jon Masters is a very traditional nerd in appearence, tall and skinny. His dark blonde hair is ruffled by a habit of scratching his head when thinking. He wears old fashioned glasses rather than having laser correction or using contact lenses. He's in a smart business suit that fits perfectly although the jacket is unbuttoned. There's a pocket protecter and several pens in his shirt pocket. An expensive mini-computer hangs at his waist.

Bullet is rather excited by all this. He's not really had much notice as a hero so far, and glad to be involved. He makes sure he sets out in masses of time to make the meeting. A good minute before it starts.

Xing-Liu shows up, not in costume, looking about as formal as she sometimes does when she just wants to be more like everyone around her. So plain shorts, plain shirt, and nothing more covers her when she shows up. Thankfully, blue hair tends to identify her to most people.

Dorian looks pretty casual too...no superhero costume. He smiles with a nod to Xing-Liu as he enters. "Hey there."

Valencia comes in with Xing, trying to hide a somewhat nervous expression as she backs up the shorter teen girl.

Jon smiles a little shyly as the heroes are shown into his office by a TransMat security team. "Ah, I wasn't expecting this number. Not enough chairs to go around I'm afraid. If you'd like to move over to the coffee table I'll explain my problem. Help yourself to coffee."

Flamestrike arrives for the meeting in street clothes but then again, he does have a public identity. Lance Vincent is a well-known firefighter, more so since his flame powers have developed. He nods and smiles a bit, "Thank you for inviting." he says and grabs a cup of coffee and waits to see what is up.

Bullet says, "No worries: I don't need a chair." Bullet floats effortlessly in the air.

Dorian moves out of the way quietly, letting others sit down.

Vice walks in late like normal. He dress as he normaly is looking more like a street fighter then anything else. He will never be caught dead in a suit. He leans agest the wall near the door and watches and listens.

Jon waits while the seating arrangements are sorted out and coffee is poured. "I'll start by introducing myself while we're getting organized. I'm Jon Master. The CEO and majority shareholder of TransMat Industries."

Valencia elects to stand, scanning the faces of the assembled heroes carefully.

Jon says, "I know most of you by reputation at least. I assume many of you know each other. But it might help if you were to introduce yourselves briefly."

Bullet suspects that means him. He says, simply, "Hi, I'm Bullet. I fly fast."

Bullet illustrates by flying to the other side of the room at 597mph and stopping again.

Flamestrike nods, "I am Lance Vincent of course," he says and smiles a bit, "Also known as Flamestrike." he smiles, "I think the name explains most of it. I turn into living flame. So be careful about getting too close when I am flaming."

"Vulcana." Valencia says quietly. "Metamorph."

Dorian raises his hand casually, waving to everyone. "I'm Dorian Perrault, also known as Spirit...and leader of Spirit of Justice. Well, when we manage to get together, which isn't too often lately. For those of you who don't know me, my powers are all based around energy manipulation is some way, shape or form."

Jon smiles at the display of speed despite many of the papers on his desk fluttering across the office from the sudden draft of wind, nods to Flamestrike. Nods again to Valcenia. "The charming and highly respected Xing-Liu hardly needs an introduction. That leaves..." He looks at Vice.

Vice frowns and stops leaning on the wall, "My name is Vice Rosewater my powers you see them if needed" He looks around the room surprised they gave up such infomation so easy" He then leans against the wall and folds his arms.

Bullet eyes Vice, with perhaps a little suspicion in his look.

Valencia glances Vice, folding her arms under her chest before turning back to Jon with a shrug.

Dorian just chuckles quietly. "Reminds me of Jack, somehow."

Jon Masters looks a bit taken aback by the abruptness of Vice's introduction but recovers after a moment. "Well thank you, each and every one of you, for coming here this afternoon. Since we first opened our doors for business early this year TransMat has made spectacular growth. We now have terminals in thirty-seven cities across four continents. Last week we transported close to six million people. That is six million people stepped into one of our portals. Six million and four people arrived in another city." He pauses to see if the discrepancy has been noted.

Valencia blinks at Jon. "You have a leak, doc?"

Bullet says, "You got *extra* people?"

Vice raise his eye brow at the comment but listens to the whats being said with out moving much more. His fist tighten some not liking what that could mean. He speaks up, "Where did the four come from?

Xing-Liu looks up from the computer screen she was paying attention to, smiling quietly. She fails to catch the significance of how people sort of added on more than usual, though the concern in others draws her attention.

Jon sakes his head slowly. "Not a leak as such. As Bullet says, we had four more people come out of our portals than entered them. As to where they came from, I was hoping thast was one of the things you could find out."

Flamestrike cocks his head to the side, "Um, yeah, that is four too many, duplication?" he shakes his head, he shared information, but then it was known anyway. He is known after all. He thinks for a moment, "Did they all emerge from the same portal?"

Bullet says, "Came out of the portals themselves - you're sure? Not just came through customs, or whatever?"

Valencia hmms and stay quiet, letting the more experienced heroes talk.

Vice snorts, "I never trust these things my self I always ready fine myself in hell or something like that. I know it would be only amount of time before something like this happen. Did these extra people stick around?"

Jon says, "Through the portals. We keep good records. You have to look ahead. One day someone is going to claim their Aunt Mabel entered a portal and never came out. So we keep reconds to produce in court when the law-suit is filed. After some hard and detailed work cross checking times and destinations the TransMat IS staff have identified the locations where these anomalies occurred. One person arrived in here in Colonial Bay and three arrived in Chicago."

Dorian says, "I assume you have a picture of these people? Perhaps from a security cam?"

Xing-Liu rests a hand on Valencia's arm, smiling with encouragement.

Jon nods, "The Chicago terminal is new and not fully finished. The TransMat network is expanding so fast sometimes corners have to be cut. So we cannot identify the three people who came through there. The Colonial Bay terminal is the HQ of our company where the workshops and designers are located. So the internal security system provides full coverage of the building. We have security camera footage available."

Flamestrike listens for the moment, "And you want us to find out who or what they are? How much information do you have on these people? Just pictures, or names, or id, I don't know how your portals work.."

Valencia smiles in reply to Xing Liu, shrugging at Jon. "Well, can we see it?" She nods to Flamestrike, echoing his sentiment.

Jon says, "We want this to stop. We want to do how they are doing it. If someone has a ability to come out of a portal without entering one, does that mean they could take someone who entered a portal and prevent them emerging? If this is a potential threat to our passengers we need to know that. We're prefer to keep this quiet until that can be established one way or the other. If this leaks our business could be badly hit by the resulting lack of confidence. That might be the aim of whoever is doing this."

Jon sighs, "If it is a threat to our passengers and we cannot put an end to it TransMat will have to close down our operations.

Dorian says, "I think the major concern should be...where did these people come from? I mean..they came from someplace. Another dimension, perhaps?"

Xing-Liu nods in understanding, oddly enough. Paying close attention throughout what Jon has said helps a great deal.

Jon says "We have no idea. That's something else we'd like to know. I have the footage ready to run if you'd like to see it now."

Bullet nods. "Show it."

Dorian nods.

Valencia hmms, turning towards the computer screen to watch.

Bullet pays close attention. For him, watching a video is like watching a slide show, which gives him plenty of time to spot an anomalous detail.

Flamestrike focuses his attention as well.

A wall screen clears of the diagrams on it and shows a multicamera view of the TransMat lobby ---> The security camera footage shows an athletic and highly attactive woman about in her late twenties. She has shoulder length chestnut hair hanging in curls, a strong face, moves with vigour and determination. Her clothing looks as if she should be at a RenFair. It has a definite medieval look to it. She has no luggage with her. Arriving at a portal used for internal US travel she walks to the ticket machines. There she asks another traveller to purchase a ticket to London for her use. <-- Jon says, "My security people have spoken to him. He's a regular business traveller. He remembers the incident and told them that she gave him a dazzling smile and after that he willingly bought a ticket for her. From the ticket machine she walked over to the international section and travelled to London. We have copies of the camera footage ready for you to collect."

Dorian raises a brow, whistling quietly. "She's like Lorelei."

Flamestrike cocks his head to the side, "Some sort of mind control?" he shrugs a bit, "We need to go to London then?"

Xing-Liu looks closely at the woman, shaking her head certainly.

Jon says "There's something else you should know. We provide free wireless connection to the world web in the passenger areas. While the person identified as arriving without any offical departure point was in the terminal area over seventy percent of the wireless bandwidth was being used by one node. Hundreds of Terabytes of information every second for nearly two minutes. Reviewing the logs for the system shows that the bandwidth was being used to search tens of thousands of online public databases. The search terms used were mage, king, and sword. Every hit on every combination of those three keywords was downloaded."

Vice raise a eye brow, "If there from this world they playing a game in those clothes. This could be a test or a scout to a invasion from another place."

Valencia hmms. "So she appeared at the CB terminal without entering a terminal before that, but has to purchase a ticket to get to London? Why not just come out there?" She then blinks at Jon. "A treasure hunter?"

Flamestrike cocks his head to the side a litle, "Mage, king, sword... sounds a lot like Merlin and King Arthur, which might explain London."

Bullet says, "Maybe she got the information here that made her decide to go to London? Hey, they have a king there, right?"

Dorian says, "Well, it's a matter of where the portal took her. Perhaps she's from a medieval-ish analogue of our time. One where London exists."

Jon spreads his hand in the air. "I don't know, and I'd rather not cloud your thoughts by making any unsupported conclusions."

Dorian says, "A portal opened in a world like that would be akin to magic. And could have latched on to Transmat's systems."

Dorian says, "So...where she appeared could have been unplanned. But perhaps she's in the world that she intended to be in, even if it's the wrong location in that world."

Valencia nods to Xing-Liu. "That's a good idea...She might not be as strong as she usually is." She then turns to Jon and nods. "So you want us to go to London?"

Vice stands, "the question is did she make it to there after entering the portal? Also was there any odd readings before and after she enter the the portal?

Jon says, "We were able to confirm her arrival in London. After that she left the terminal and went out of our security envelope."

Vice laughs softy, "you didn't think of stopping her?"

Bullet says, "And hasn't used the TransMat since, right? When was that?"

Valencia shrugs at Vice. "Why would they? She had a valid ticket."

Xing-Liu offers a slight frown to Vice, shaking her head slightly.

Jon tells Vice, "We didn't even know this was happening until the weekly collation of reports. So they were here two days before we knew about it.

Dorian says, "Well...I guess we should track her down, since she is the only real lead. But...did the other three who appeared in Chicago...do we know if they arrived together?"

Flamestrike nods, "And do we know if there were any portals to London around the same time as their arrival?"

Jon nods to Dorian, "Within a few minutes of each other, and an hour after the woman."

Vice nods and leans back agest the wall, "I guess you be sercurty systems to alert you if this happens again. Finding one person in a city hard even if she dress like that still. It might be best to catch others if it happens again"

Valencia hmms. "Yeah, that's not suspicious..." She replies to Jon.

Dorian says, "So...if time flows for them like it does here...they're here to chase down the woman. And may have a better idea where she's going that we do."

Xing-Liu looks around, ready to act. It sounds to her like all of the information necessary is now in the hands of the heroes!

Bullet says, "Was there the heavy computer use in Chicago too?"

Jon nods, "We're improving our systems as a matter of urgency. Once the changes are in place there will be instant alert if any passenger arrives without having left, or if any passenger leaves and doesn't arrive."

Jon looks that up for Bullet, "Uh.... No. Not in Chicago."

Dorian says, "If she's looking for...Excalibur, as someone else thought, perhaps a place to start would be all of the major Arthurian sites that are known? Like...what...Stonehenge, and Glastonbury?"

Valencia shrugs at Dorian. "Or you could start looking in lakes..."

Bullet says, "Give me a map and a list of likely places. I can look quickly."

Jon says "I've asked our London branch to hire a London based Private Investigator to give you local information and do some of the legwork for you if you decide to assist."

Vice shakes his head at to comments, "We know nothing of this woman to make guess like that could lead us to a dead end"

Xing-Liu nods slightly to Vice, and again looks ready to go.

Bullet confidently tells Jon, "We'll find these people."

Valencia glancing at Xing-Liu and notes her expression before turning back to Jon. "So, this is kind of an introductory sort of thing?"

Jon sums up, "That's really as much as we know. Not a lot I understand. If you have any questions I'll try to answer them. You have free access to any of TransMat's facilities and a full expense account. The future of this company and the future of TransMat technology is at stake."

Vice folds his arms, "I do have one more question how long ago did this happen?"

Jon tells Vice. "Two days ago. The woman arrived at 2:37pm. The three in Chicago arrived just over an hour later."

Bullet says, "Two days? The trail's pretty cold!"

Dorian shrugs, "Well, perhaps we should get to London, and decide what to do from there."

Jon nods, "I know. I'm asking a lot. Please do what you can. Whatever resources you might find useful will be made available to you if it's within my power to do so."

Bullet says, "Don't worry. I won't sleep till I've found them."

Flamestrike nods, "But there might be more local information."

Bullet thinks . o O (Of course, I don't sleep.)

Jon nods. "I have someone standing by with a staff portal set for London. If you want to use him the private investigator is John Nichols. His address is 212b Baker Street, London SW1. He comes highly recommended."

Dorian says, "There might be more local info, yes...but we know she went to London. That means the first step is to there."

Valencia nods to Jon, then looks at Xing-Liu. "Well, what are we waiting for?"

Jon leads you all into the staff only area of the company to a portal set up for London.

Flamestrike nods, "meant local London." he says as he shakes his head a bit.

Bullet shakes his head slightly looking at the portal, but doesn't explain his thoughts.

Jon Masters wishes you well.

Xing-Liu is ready to go, heading through the portal.

Valencia follows on Xing-Liu's heels.

Dorian . o O (And here's hoping we actually appear where we mean to...and don't get replaced or shunted elsewhere...gah...don't look nervous...don't look nervous...don't look nervous)

Bullet doesn't look nervous. Maybe a bit sad? He goes through confidently enough.

Vice frowns at the portal never trusted them much, "Lets get this over with"

Flamestrike heads through as well.

Dorian closes his eyes, as if he's praying to himself, and then opens them, and heads through.

Vice close his eyes as well and steps into the portal

By some miracle you all arrive in Londow, at the TransMat terminal. The terminal manager is waiting for you. He's a small fussy looking man with a balding head and a squint.

TransMat London IC Zone The London terminal of TransMat is much like the Colonial Bay terminal. Probably the same basic desgin is being used for every city.

Vice opens his eyes and takes a deep breath. He mutters a curse under his breath as he looks back at the portal

Bullet thinks . o O (That's a design flaw. You could get aside before you find out you've taken a wrong turn!)

Dorian relaxes a bit as he arrives, since it appears they arrived in the right place and time.

Valencia stretches her arms as she arrives. "That wasn't so bad..."

Xing-Liu isn't sure if she's gone somewhere or not, but the different people help her to determine the truth. She presents a rather friendly smile to people who take a moment to look at the group of heroes.

Robert Hyde, "Good evening. I'm Mr Hyde, the manager for the London Terminal. I've have instructions to let you disrupt the smooth running of my terminal from Mr Masters. I don't know why he is making whatever arrangement he has but please try not to disturb the operations here any more than you already have."

Valencia puts a hand on Xing-Liu's shoulder as she backs up. "Don't worry...He just likes to run a tight ship. Can't be helped."

Flamestrike looks at Mr. Hyde, "We have been given permission to do whatever is necessary." he says and smiles sweetly. Hecocks his head to the side a little, "Now There was some information or could direct us to such."

Vice snorts, "there nothing here I need to see what happen in this place when she came thought I want to know where she went after she left here"

Robert looks at Vice distainfully, "She? We have seven hundred thousand passengers a week. You'll need to be a little more specific than that."

Valencia blinks at Robert. "Jon Masters didn't show you the tape?"

Xing-Liu points toward one of the security cameras, offering a little hopeful smile, almost afraid to clarify.

Vice rise a eye brow at the man, "you have not been told about the extra passagers that came from the portal?" He laughs some and walks bpass the guy, "then your useless to me"

Dorian raises a brow, even as he shakes his head at Vice's reaction. He looks to Mr. Hyde, "I would have thought Mr. Masters would have apprised you of what we were doing here? And if you DON'T know why...please direct us to someone who DOES know."

Robert sniffs, "Mr Masters is evidently too busy to speak with me. He's been talking to the head of security though."

Valencia nods slowly, glancing at Xing-Liu to let her know that she got the message. "Could we speak to them, please?" She asks Roberts.

Dorian smiles and nods at Valencia's suggestion. "Yes, please take us to your head of security, Mr. Hyde."

A couple of staff in security uniforms step forward from where they have been waiting in the background. "We're here to take you to the security command post. Sorry for not introducing ourselves earlier but My Hyde wanted to greet you personally."

Flamestrike shakes his head a bit and smiles, "Thank you." he says as he waits for the escort.

Xing-Liu looks like she understands something then, and nods, stepping toward Hyde with a friendly smile, and offers him her fist. A greeting is, after all, an easy thing to make.

Vice leans near a wall near by sure there be no new infomation that will help from them.

Mr Hyde flinches away from Xing-Liu in obvious fear.

Bullet nods to the security people and follows impatiently. Things seem to be moving too slowly.

Valencia blinks at Xing-Liu. "Um, Fist? He might not appreciate that...Let's just go with the security people..."

Puzzled, Xing-Liu looks a little apologetic, slinking off with Valencia.

The security team keep straight faces, somehow, and one says, "If you could come this way please."

Valencia smiles and tries to wrap an arm around Xing-Liu's shoulders, knowing that she meant well and trying to keep her spirits up.

Dorian nods, and follows the security team.

Vice stops leaning agest the wall and walks a few steps behind the group.

Flamestrike moves along with the group.

Bullet flies rather than walking.

Inside the security command post you find a cheerful seeming woman in her late fifties. Blonde hair is going thin and a bit gray but she looks in good shape overall, "Hello. Welcome to London. I'm June Lewis. Where do you want to start? Asking me questions?"

Valencia smiles at Ms. Lewis. "Is there anything the security cameras here could tell us about the woman we're after?"

Xing-Liu tests her theory again, offering her fist to Ms. Lewis, friendly smile showing.

Vice nods, "so what can you tell us about the woman dress out of the midevil times?"

June nods, "I assume you've seen the recording from the Colonial Bay terminal? We used that to track her activities on arriving here. She went first to the map of the underground system. But after looking at that she walked away from the entrance to the underground and went instead to a taxi. I've spoken to the taxi driver. He remembers that fare. He drove her to the British Mueum Library building and didn't charge her for the trip." On seeing Xing-Liu's offered fist June smiles and bumps it with her own fist. "He told me that she had such a great smile he couldn't bring himself to ask for payment."

Nodding slightly, Xing-Liu seems satisfied. So it is in fact Hyde that is broken, not her.

June tells Vice, "Her clothing was unusual but we get passengers from all over the world. We're used to seeing odd styles.

Bullet says, "So why didn't she take the underground? Doesn't it go near the museum?"

Dorian shakes his head, "If you could convince people to do anything for you, for free...why figure out the underground? No, it makes logical sense that she went for a cab."

Valencia shrugs at Bullet. "It's harder to understand. Eaiser to tell a taxi where to go."

Vice nods, "true. This sounds trouble it might fall on the woman of the group if she has some kind of power to charm men"

Bullet says, "So she went all the way there? Have you traced her farther than that?"

Valencia nods to Xing-Liu. "It could also have been to just to get information, Xing-Liu says."

June says, "There's an underground station quite close to the Museum in fact. Russell Square station. So I don't know why she didn't go via the underground after looking at the map. I have a theory. The underground is mostly automated fare collection these days. A taxi driver is more likely to succumb to a winning smile."

Flamestrike cocks his head to the side, "There is either something at the library or specific information she is looking for, possibly got an article on the library from the online search."

Xing-Liu nods to June, motioning to Valencia to emphasize her own theory. Life is always interesting when one speaks vicariously through friends...

June says, "The taxi driver dropped her at the British Museum Library entrance. He watched her go inside. I don't have any information after that. My instructions from Jon were to keep this quiet and wait for assistance. That's you folks I'm guessing."

Bullet says, "Maybe she needs some information so old it's only on paper!"

Valencia nods to June. "Everything we've said is probably part of the reason." She looks around. "So, do we follow the beadcrumbs to the museum?"

Xing-Liu smiles, nodding quickly.

Flamestrike nods, "That is to where it seems to be leading us."

Bullet says, "Sounds good. How far is that?"

Vice frowns, "I don't like this it to easy someone dress so she stands out comes in away that sends off alerms so people will follow her"

Dorian raises a brow, "Considering this was two days ago, I wouldn't complain too much about her leaving a trail."

Valencia nods. "She might not have been aware of it, or she didn't care."

Dorian says, "I'd much rather be able to track her down easily, even if she's really powerful, than play 'Scotland Yard'."

Xing-Liu offers a grateful smile to Ms. Lewis, seeming again ready to move.

Bullet says, "She may be hiding, though. I'm thinking the other three may be tracking *her*."

Dorian says, "Just because she's being tracked...that doesn't mean she's hiding."

Valencia nods to Bullet. "It's possible...But they could also be henchmen. The only way we'll find out is if we keep following the trail."

The British Museum. The Library, second in size to the Congressional Library. Second to none in the quality of its collection. The arrival of masked (maybe) and costumed heroes disturbs the peace not at all. There are scholars at study in the reading room. The librarian's only concession to the unusual nature of the group is a slightly raised eyebrow. "Welcome to the libary reading room. Have you reserved a study desk?"

Xing-Liu smiles, rather friendly, making a waving motion with her fist.

Vice looks at Xing, "whats with the fist?"

Dorian smiles, speaking quietly, "We're investigating an... anomaly. Do you remember a woman who came in here a couple of days ago...dressed in clothing that would look appropriate in medieval times?"

Valencia quirks a brow at Vice, raising a finger to her lips. "Shhh. Library."

The librarian looks up and nods, "Ah... Yes. Her I remember."

Dorian nods. "Would you be able to tell us what she did while she was here?"

Flamestrike cocks his head to the side, "Yes, it would be most helpful."

The librarian nods, and gestures for the group to follow him. He leads the group of heroes into the special collections room. "You're American I presume from your accent?" he asks Spirit. "So you may not be aware of the normal procedures in the library here. Access to the special collections room is booked up months in advance. So when a lady arrives unexpectedly and asks to be admitted what would you expect the response to be?"

Vice smiles, "Normaly I would say you turn her away but she somehow convice you to give her a room"

Bullet says, "I was right then! She was after some rare book - or manuscript?"

Xing-Liu follows, keeping herself 'quiet' in movements, avoiding attention being drawn more than it already is upon the group.

Dorian nods, still speaking quietly, "That's correct, I'm American. Spent a fair amount of times overseas, but that Pittsburgh accent tends to stick." He says 'Pittsburgh' with that hard 'g' sound. "I'd expect she would normally be turned away...but I'm guessing she wasn't."

The librarian nods, "Most perceptive. Yes. For some reason I brough her into this room and helped her find the papers she was looking for." He gets a thick leather bound book and opens it. "She signed for the papers in the loans book." he tells you pointing to a signature (Domma lu Lacus).

Dorian raises a brow, "I'm assuming that's Latin. What's it translate to?"

The librarian translates, "Lady of Lakes."

Flamestrike smacks his hand to his forehead.

Dorian nods slowly, "Hrm. What'd she look at?"

Vice frowns and shakes his head, "She might be after a sword then"

Flamestrike nods, "What papers did she take?"

Bullet says, "THis is all Arthur and Merlin and that stuff, right? Watery tarts throwing swords at people?"

The librarian points to the item listed in the book, "The records of the Bedivere family. In particular she seemed to be interested in the documents relating to Bedivere's Folly. Which is the earliest known Folly built in England, centuries before the Folly became a popular structure. In fact the name Folly comes from Bedivere's building."

Bullet says, "Where's that?"

Vice shakes her head,m "she was the guarden of the sword who only gave it to people who she deamed wrothy"

Dorian glances at Bullet, and shakes his head. He looks back to the librarian. "Where can we find this place?"

The librarian gets out a map and checks, "Here we are. On Salibury Plain. About twenty miles from the city, and about ten miles north of Glastonbury."

Bullet studies the map. "What does it look like? Is it easy to see?"

The librarian shakes his head, "I must admit I have never seen it. That land is part of the army maneuver range. The Folly itself is listed so the army has to maintain it but access is probably restricted. Unless you like dodging tank shells."

Dorian smiles. "I don't think the tank shells will be an issue. Thank you for your assistance, sir."

Xing-Liu nods slightly, seeming ready to go again.

Bullet shrugs. "I'm ok with it. But maybe this woman will have had some trouble - for once we might gain on her!"

The librarian asks, "She used some kind of mental power on me, didn't she?"

Vice nods, "most likly she seems to be able to charm people thats all we know about her. I dout the tanks stop her they most likly held the door open for her"

The librarian sighs, "..and she seemed so nice too. Had a truly wonderful smile."

Dorian nods. "It does seem likely. Mental or pheromonal. Hard to say which at this point."

Bullet says, "Or is it something to do with the smile? That was mentioned before, right?"

Flamestrike sighs softly and nods, "Alright, onto the next spot." he says and bows to the librarian, "I thank you for your time, you have been most helpful."

The librarian sighs again, "If I can be of any further assistance I'll be at the front desk."

Bullet says, "Thanks again."

Vice nods, "You been alot of help"

Dorian rubs his chin. "I guess on to the Folly. Though I suspect we'll need to speak to the military."

Bullet says, "I could fly us there quickly. But I can't carry everyone at once."

Dorian says, "It's not like it's that far. I'm sure that more than one of us could fly, and we coudl always hire a car to take us out that way."

Vice raise a eyebrow, "or we can take a cab"

Bullet says, "That'd take ages! At this rate she'll stay two days ahead of us!"

Dorian says, "We do have an expense account to use, after all." He looks at Bullet, "Keep your voice down...we're still in the library after all. And what..you'll save us a couple hours, maybe? I'd rather make sure everyone sticks together for the time being."

Xing-Liu reaches with her mind to Dorian.

Vice nods, "We should send a scout ahead Bullet and someone else. I would surgest one of the woman in the group just to be safe side"

Valencia stands by, arms folded. "Staying together is best especially if the lag time is a few hours in between." She says quietly.

Bullet sighs. "Ok. Fine."

Dorian nods to Xing-Liu after seeming to be lost in thought a moment, "Perhaps. But we'll see."

Flamestrike cocks his head to the side a little and nods.

[OOC] Ayesha says, "This seems like a good place to call a halt for tonight and pick up next Friday at the same time. You've done well with the investigation. And have pretty much caught up with what I've prepped."
