It's late at night on the docks of Colonial Bay, but the ship conatiner yard is still active the night shift of dockworkers handle the task of moving truck containers from the cargo bays of massive transport boats and onto the backs of eighteen wheeler trucks. The heavy lifting is done by massive maglev cranes that manipulate the truck containers. Spot lights shine down over the yard from towers above, creating patches of high visibility and also stark shadows. One section of the yard is dominated by "The Stacks", a maze-like area created by piled up truck containers, standing nearly five stories tall.

Wasp flies down towards the Container Yard. "There's thousands of them. So which one is it? Lorelei, Olivia, any ideas?"

Lorelei says, "You took down the numbers, didn't you?"

Wasp nods, "Yes. The numbers are stored on the PDA."

Lorelei tries to spot the elusive Captain Jack and his presumed entourage. "Maybe you'd better drop us off on the ground - near a spotlight, please. Then you'll be free to scout."

SilverShadow floats down with Wasp, landing near the other, looking about.

Wasp detours, "That's Jace down there isn't it? Let's go see if he wants to come along."

SilverShadow says, "So what are we looking for now?"

Olivia shrugs, "Um, not sure myself, so we just need to look for the right container?" she asks the others, she hasn't diamonded up yet.

Lorelei says, "Captain Jack - the supplier of the drugs that are giving people powers - and entourage. His stash is suppose to be here somewhere - then he's supposed to be getting away by boat."

SilverShadow says, "Ahh I see. So someone needs to find the container...and someone needs to find the boat?"

Lorelei says, "Kelly Cafferty of Defense Intelligence is supposed to be taking care of the boat. We waiting on a check if he's ok, though."

Lorelei says, "The boat's the Mercury, registered in Bermuda."

SilverShadow nods, "I see, well we got anything to go on for finding the right container? You said a number?"

Olivia cocks her head to the side a little, "Sooo...what exactly are we looking for, people or stuff."

Lorelei says, "Both, really. The drug's dangerous, but the supplier no less so."

As the heroes converse, a cargo truck with container in tow rumbles past them, heading for the gate.

Captain Jack: A Caucasion man in his late forties with dark hair, streaked with patches of gray. He seems to be in good shape for his age, with keen, dark eyes and skin that's rough and pocked. Despite the blemishes of his skin, he's attractive in a rugged way, with an air of command about him. He's dressed in a black suit, but looks a little rumpled and disheveled now.

Lorelei says, "Better check that one, before it goes!"

Wasp says, "And a guy wearing an illuminated fishbowl. He's a meta with light powers who seems to be after the drug dealer and willing to use lethal force."

SilverShadow shivers at that thought. "Oh.."

Wasp flies up to the container to check the number.

Wasp flies back, "Not that one. Only another 9,999 to go. Lorelei, try going the Dock Office a ring. Someone must have a record of what container is parked where."

Olivia shifts into full diamond form as she shrugs a bit, "Do we look in the meantime, might get lucky?"

Lorelei says, "Will do."

Lorelei says, "Look for the people - they'll be more obvious than the container."

SilverShadow nods, "right...we got a radio or something in case we find it?"

SilverShadow floats a bit off the ground, "Right..should be cake."

Lorelei withdraws to an inobvious place, pull out her PDA and searches for the number of the Dock Office to ring.

Lorelei gives the number a ring.

SilverShadow floats above, "I guess i'll make it known...". He takes to the skies and flies over the top of the dock, looking for obvious costumes and wierd cargo loads.

Wasp waits with Lorelei.

"Eastside Docks, Foreman's Office..." a voice responds.

Lorelei says, "Hello - this is Lorelei; I'm here with Wasp and a couple of other heroes - we have a problem I'm hoping you can help us with. Some criminals have some dangerous drugs stashed in one of your containers, and we need to find it before they get to it! Can you tell us where it is? THe container number is..."

Lorelei gives the number.

Diamond climbs onto one of the containers and glances around looking for things while waiting.

Diamond turns and waves down to the others on the ground, trying to get their attention. She points in a certain direction and then starts moving in the direction. At the moment she is on top of one of the large stacks and heads in the direction she pointed, towards something she saw.

SilverShadow floats down toward an abandoned truck, looking at container in the back of it.

Over the phone, the foreman says, "Look... sometimes I get a call to move a container, and I move it... I don't ask any questions, I don't make any trouble..."

Lorelei says, "Look - don't worry - you're not in trouble for anything. All we need to know is where we can find that container. You could even be a hero for this!"

"Look..." The foreman says, "I just got a call. We loaded that container on a truck, five minutes ago."

Meanwhile as Diamond and SilverShadow approach the idling truck, they can see that the container number matches.

Lorelei says, "What truck? Where is it?"

Just as Diamond and SilverShadow comes to their realization, and as teh foreman tells Lorelei the location of the truck, a man steps out of the back of the truck's cargo container. It's Captain Jack, and this time he's armed.

Lorelei breaks into a run, not toward Captain Jack, but toward the nearest spotlight beam. "Wasp - it's that truck over there!"

SilverShadow levels an arm, elbow locked, other arm steadying it toward Jack, "Freeze Cap, your drug haze days are over!"

Wasp nods to Lorelei, shrinks down to wasp size and flies in that direction.

Wasp assumes the goggles are either night vision or, more likely given the nature of the attacks at the club, anti-flash goggles. Either way she flies a slightly detoured route taking as much advantage of cover as she can and kicks out at the rifle as she passes the drug dealer.

Valencia bounds along the stacks, apparently out for a late patrol on the waterfront. She pauses at the commotion below, perching on the edge of one container to peer down at the captain and his pursuers. "What have we here.."

Captain Jack dives out of the way of the Wasp's attack, tucking an rolling with practiced ease.

Wasp misses Captain Jack but is happy knowing he can't get a good enough aim after pulling the rifle away from her flight path to shoot at her friends.

From the Stacks a white caped figure emerges, it's Strobe and he aims a gloved hand at the Captain and the heroes gathered around him. There's a brilliant flash as he projects a pulse of white light at Captain and the other heroes.

Lorelei thinks . o O (I wonder....)

Valencia blinks at the massive flash in the distance, deciding that she needs to get there fast. She compresses her legs, holding the position for a moment before springing into the air in a graceful leap towards the battle

SilverShadow shutters and recoils, grabbing his eyes as the flash rips through his protective shadow skin.

Diamond growls and howls a bit as the bright light flashes through her diamond body blinding her momentarily.

Lorelei, knowing she'll be of know use against the blinded Captain Jack, decides to focus instead on Strobe - and try to put him out of the fight fast before she's blinded too. Dashing into the beam of a spotlight, she strike one of her best poses for Strobe's benefit.

Vice walks slowy down the docks and soon stops seeing a group of people some he knows others he doesn't. He moves closer but stays clear of the action until he knows whats going on.

Strobe turns towards Lorelei and freezes there for a moment before stumbling backwards against the wall of a cargo container -- seemingly stunned.

SilverShadow stumbles a bit after the flash and starts to try and center the on the light guy..He tries his hardest to center on him and then charges at him!

Diamond finds herself still unable to see. She shakes her head a bit but it still doesn't go away, so for the moment, there she is 3" from Jack, blinded and not doing anything, she could seriously hurt someone if she hit the wrong person.
