Bridgend
Bridgend is an upmarket coastal stretch, between the port to the north and the yacht club to the south, where several main roads meet: Golden Sands Road from the southwest, Ming Street from Chinatown, Bridge Road from Sandy Bottoms Island, and Wharf Street, running roughly parallel to the shore. Some more prominent businesses have warehouses here, but expensive houses and nice cafes, restaurants and shops are more common. The spectacular arch of the bridge to the island guarantees these businesses always have a good tourist trade.
GM: Bard
Ghost is returning from a visit to the Port. She's thinking about the creature, Tank, who she spoke to there, and hoping Jim will get over his fear, and that the surly unfriendly Tank will lighten up.
X flies through the open sky of the night, in his element. X circles the area, doing aerobatic maneuvers in mid-air, probably just having fun. X also is sending echos at the ground every so often.
Kosmos is heading towards the coffee shop with Solixis after recieving a recomendation from Paper. She hopes to recieve aditional help from Solixis in her hunt for an apartment. Unfamiliar with the area she paying a bit more attention than is usual to the feeds from her passive sensors.
Ghost winces as her elfen ears are assaulted by a sudden loud, to her at least, sonar ping.
Solixis is doing his best to help the gynoid, and is following her toward the coffee shop. He gets a donut and heads back out, not liking the crowd inside. He, too, winces at the high frequency sounds.
The night is very still, not much is going on. A few cars drive by, but not at their day time rates.
X takes note of these winces and reframes from his maneuvers and circles down to where Sol is, unsure of why he's wincing, he asks "What's wrong?"
Solixis shakes his head, "It's probably nothing, but your echolocation operates at a frequency that I can hear. The surprise of it hurt, not the intensity.'
X nods. "Sorry."
Kosmos looks over to Solixis, "I am fortunate that my sofware can filter out most regularly repeating inputs, I remember the anoyance of testing my sensors before the filter software was installed." Turns towards X "It would be a good idea to refrain from using your echoloaction as much as you can."
X doesn't like the sound of that. "But I use my echolocation nearly all the time..." X states.
"Then it would be best to keep its intensity low if Solixis' reaction is any indication", says Kosmos.
X would shrug, if his arms weren't kinda already in use. "Is it bothering you now," X asks, then tries mimicing Kosmos and saying "Solixis?" with her voice.
Ghost watches the metas and possibly aliens as they gather near the entrance to the coffee shop.
Solixis says, "I was just surprised, that's all. It's not often that sounds hit that frequency. Why are you using her voice? (You aren't doing a very good job mimicing.)"
A moving truck came rolling around the corner and parks on the otherside of the road. The back opens up automatically.

[OOC] Bard says, "Okay X Ghost and Solixis all hear the sound of something powering up in the back of the truck"
The truck door opens then closes, You don't see the person. (Does anyone do anything?)
X looks in that direction, tries to see if he can indentify what the heck is happening with his echolocation. After this, he turns to Kosmos and Sol and asks, "Did you guys hear something?"
Solixis heads over and tries to get a better look.
Ghost turns to look at the truck, but not being that long on Earth she has no way to know if this is anything unusual. Still, paranoid describes her, so she takes a quick step to get into the partial cover of a trash can and prepares to activate her force armor.
"I did not" says Kosmos
[OOC] Bard gets a surprise round >:D
[OOC] Solixis says, "I forgot to mention that I have my ice armor active."
[OOC] Bard says, "too late"
[OOC] Solixis says, "As I approach the truck."

X switches from normal echolocation to 360 echolocation, sending downword sweeps across ultrasonic fequencies.
[OOC] Bard says, "No X combat has started wait your turn"
[OOC] Bard says, "Sol give me a DEX roll, actually, you need to beat by 5"
[OOC] Ghost says, "Solixis, you can abort to put up your armor when you are attacked."
[OOC] Solixis says, "Still going to hurt, obvious target and all."
[OOC] Bard says, "Also unfortunately this si a surprise you need a DEX roll or you're 1/2 dcv'd"
Solixis rolls 3D6 with DEX of 15 getting 9 which MAKES by 3
[OOC] Bard says, "Okay, you're not 1/2 but you don't get an action."
[OOC] Bard says, "You can still abort, it's just you don't get to get an additional action"
[OOC] Solixis says, "Can I check something? (I think I input my dex wrong.)"
[OOC] Ghost says, "You did, but the roll makes the check anyway."
[OOC] Solixis says, "Because that should be makes by 6."

[OOC] Bard says, "Moving on, sol you get one action, what is it?"
Solixis activates his armor.
Out of the back of the truck drive two robo-suited mini humans as solixis looks in. They drive out landing on the ground. The have the humans seated in the "Chest" area with two robot arms. The have a wheeled base, and a sensor area surrounds the midgets. The first one tries to grab the kitsune who appears, followed by another attempt to just hit him. A strange glow also appears around the kitsune's head.
[OOC] Bard says, "BTW do you abort to dodge?"
[OOC] Solixis says, "Yes, how do I do that?"
[OOC] Bard says, "You just did"
[OOC] Bard says, "third attack"

[OOC] Bard says, "Suits are across the street so they are 5" away (10 meters)"
Ghost shouts out as the heroes start to react. "Find the mage. Take him out first."
[OOC] Bard says, "Ghost..."
[OOC] Bard says, "I can think of 1 reason to justify that, but you need to say it."
[OOC] Ghost says, "Zero time soliquies (sp?) are always allowed. She saw both mecha's shoot and miss. That means, in her experience, and she *is* a combat experienced mage herself, that the glow around Solixis' head followed by the con-stunning means there's an invisible mage on the scene."
[OOC] Bard says, "Okay (aware of 0 time speaches, just wondering if you used ooc knowledge is all) I do it to all my players"
[OOC] Ghost says, "Uh, I don't have any OOC knowledge. You're running this and you haven't told me anything the other players haven't also seen. :)"
Kosmos calls out, "There is someone behind the truck," She moves towards the suits with a later intention of heading to the back, She stops to make a shot at one of the suits hoping to hit the operator with her pain beam. " [Game] 3" Move, 4d6 NND vs ED-Forcefield or EMP Shielding.

Solixis reels from the impact and cannot do much else
X creates a glowing Purple energy field around himself, his sonic orbs glow brightly. X flies toward the truck at full speed, and wants to see what the heck is behind it. X continues using 360 degree echolocation

[OOC] X says, "So 8" And I'd be behind the truck?"
[OOC] Bard says, "Yup"
X's forcefield intensity lowers, and a ball of sonic energy is formed, then launched at the person with the mask. [Game] Sonic Shield: +8rPD,+ 17rED, 0 END, 36 AP;Sonic Screech: 3d6 vs ED, NND attack(Defense in Flash Defense (Hearing), Deafness, or Covering Ears), 30 AP, 3 END; OCV 8 DCV 10 vs DCV ??
The one robot again tries to grab the stunned fox as the other moves on to bigger targets, like taht girl who blasted him! He drives his suit towards her and throws a left hook.
Bard rolls 3D6 and gets 16

X's attack misfires, and doesn't hit the target.
Kosmos deftly dodges the fist that was heading at her face by sidestepping.
Solixis somehow dodges another attack, still reeling from the previous attack.

[OOC] X says, "What kind of attack is it?"
Kosmos calls out, "Those other attacks are coming from a woman in red, I think they are mental attacks."
X NAGH...X clenches his head as he's hit with an EGO attack, X falls to the ground con-stunned, the Purple/pink force field disapates.
X rolls 3D6 with BREAKFALL of 15- getting 6 which MAKES by 9
[OOC] Bard says, "Okay, no damage from falling"
[OOC] Bard says, "Okay Ghost is up"
[OOC] Ghost says, "Ghost now has a reasonably good idea where the third enemy is from observing where X fired at. Is there a spot up close to the truck where she would shielded by the body of the truck and out of sight of both the robomidgets and the third person? If so how far is it to get there?"
[OOC] Bard says, "I'd say a move of... 7 total"
[OOC] Bard says, "You can push"
[OOC] Ghost says, "Will push for the extra inch"
Ghost listens for a moment, running through tactical options. Then she makes a dash for the front of the truck where she should be out of sight from all the enemies she's aware of, flattening herself with back to the truck, and remembering to activate her force armor at the start of the run.
[OOC] Bard says, "that all Ghost?"
[OOC] Ghost says, "That's a full move for Ghost, so yes."
While Kosmos would like to remove the threat of the suit attacking her, she knows aiding a downed comrad is more important. She breaks away and moves so she can attack the woman, when she has a clear attack she lets off with another shot from her pain beam.

The bolt of energy hits the woman in the red dress, but it seems to not do to much, only hitting her shoulder. Her attention is turned towards the gynoid.
Solixis takes some time to recover bit more before unleashing the full force of arctic wind on the robomidget nearest him.
The woman behind the truck draws her fist back like she's going to throw a punch and thrusts it forwards at Kosmos, trying to force her back with a bolt of psychic energy. The robo midgets also go to defend their comrad (three attacks on Kosmos)
[OOC] Bard says, "Red psycher holds action, 2 attacks on kosmos"
X shakes his head, and gets up. X rearms his force field full strength and tries to get as far away from the person who mental attacked him as he possibly can. [Game] Sonic Shield, +10rPD, +22rED, 0 END, 48 AP;Full Move: 15" away from the area via Flight, 3 END;OCV 10, DCV 10
Thankfully alerted by her sensors Kosmos ducks under one attack and somehow manages to move out of the way of the other.
Ghost slides across the front of the truck to get a view around the other side. There's the target. Not invisible. Even better. And facing Kosmos so there's a back to aim at. Ghost hasn't been enagged and hasn't been in sight of the woman. Hopefully she'll get surorise on her. The smart link coupled to her Spetsdod changes clips to Stinger needles as a targeting reticle appears in her field of vision. Then she fires into the broad and inviting back presented.

The woman in red seems to be more aware than she appears, she turns around, backhanding the shot of Ghosts and drilling it into the wall further down the road.
Amy come walking the street in a winter coat which looks like it was mean for a colder climate, lost in a world of her own, but then she notices a fight and approaches at a run. "Hey, what's going on?"
Diamond was in the bathroom in the coffee shop, fixing her hair while talking on the phone, not like she needs to use it for anything else. She steps out of the bathroom to the scene outside and blinks. She growls a bit and starts for the door, her body oozing and shifting as it is covered by a diamond Carapace and then out the door she comes.
X circles and lands on one of the building rooftops away from the main combat, and disarms his force field.
[Game] Release of every active power; Recover; DCV 5
Ghost holds her position, poised to react. If the mage attacks her she'll try to duck back behind the front of the truck leaving Kosmos with a clear shot into the woman's back. And if the mage tries to turn back to Kosmos, Ghost will have another shot at her back.
[OOC] Ghost says, "Holding action."
The robo midgets attempt to attack the woman who has been attacking and hitting people. (kosmos) while the lady in red waits again, trying to see if she can get a slightly better timing on something. (2 attacks on Kosmos and 1 hold from Lady in Red)
Komos was prepared for the attacks from the suits. The blows are easy for her to dodge.
Solixis is sure that he can get a better shot than his last, backs up and lets off another arctic blast.
[OOC] Bard says, "Attack on who?"
[OOC] Solixis says, "The robomidget he missed last segment."

The robomidget's ability to dodge is uncanny as yet again it avoids the attack.
[OOC] Amy says, "What am I able to see on my line of approach?"
Ghost thinks . o O (Is it worth pointing out to her that the mechas have missed everything while the mage has hit everything.. ah.. except for her when she was surprised. So, yeah, bad tactics but I guess it's personal against the mechas.)
Amy doesn't really know what's going on, but she can get the sense of who's the good guys and who's the bad guys. She she sends some 'bad luck motes' toward the lady in red. "What's going on?"

[OOC] Bard says, "Is that a ranged attack?"

The lady in red does like a jedi and forces the motes towards Amy but they fly to the right instead. (Missile deflection)
Ghost says over her shoulder to Amy without taking her eyes off the mage, "No idea in general. In specific a couple of mechas and the mage woman started attacking the fox guy."
[OOC] Ghost says, "Take action when comvenient."
[OOC] Amy says, "I don't think MD normally affects Drain - or am I wrong? Not that it matters with that roll."
Ghost sees the 'mage' deflect Amy's motes and instantly fires at her trying to overwhelm the mage's ability to defelct more attacks.
[OOC] Bard says, "Missile delfection can effect all ranged attacks, normally it won't effect drain since drain is touch melee"
The lady in red seems untouchable as she moves gracefully to difflect another blast from ghost and tries to hit kosmos with this one, but fails to do so, as it sky rockets.
Ghost sighs, and lowering her aim starts her right hand moving towards the hilt of her sword.
The lady in red sees Ghost reaching for her blade and makes a motion as if she is swiping it from her. (telekenisis) then she seems to wait again. The robomidgets move, one attacks solixis and the other attacks Kosmos again.
[OOC] Diamond says, "just supprised that they went on 5 and 6..."
[OOC] Bard smacks head. "You'r right, my B"
[OOC] Ghost says, "Uh, is this is the same segment, she's missle deflected hasn't she?"
[OOC] Bard says, "You cna hold a missile deflect with an half and use it until you fail."
Diamond is sort of in the same boat but does see people fighting and the Robos and others. She decides that is where she needs to be so leaps over to slam her fist into one of the robo midgets.

Diamond lands next to one of the robo midgets and misses as she attempts to slam her fist into it.

[OOC] Ghost says, "Yes, she can keep doing it. But after doing it she can't then use TK against Ghost in the same phase."
[OOC] Bard says, "Okay, but she didn't if you read I f***ed up"
[OOC] Ghost says, "Oh. Missed that."
[OOC] Bard gives Ghost a cookie and a pat on the back. "I do that a lot, not the best DM but still enjoy it"
[OOC] Ghost says, "No worries. Good to have someone GM'ing. Just Ghost is supposed to be highly tactical, and it would suck if she did all the right things and got splattered because of a rule misreading. :)"
X moves up against the edge of the roof, braces himself, and takes aim at one of the robots. His Sonic Forcefield dims to half its strength, then he fires. The midgebot is hit but seems unphased and remains unmoved by the attack.
"We're outnumbered boys! pull back!" The lady in red cries out taking to the air. she rockets away as her eyes glow with psychic energy. The midgebots turn around and their wheels burn out for a second before rocketting away down the road.
[OOC] Bard says, "Anyone try anything?"
[OOC] X is to far away.
[OOC] Kosmos says, "how far away is the lady in red?"
[OOC] Diamond says, "no the only thing I could think of would cause too much damage if I missed."
[OOC] Amy wanted to. But I don't know how far away she is now. or if I go yet.
[OOC] Bard says, "NCM speed of midgebots is 60MPH, the woman has a 30" fly, she's right now 60 from a 30" CM move becoming 60" NCM"
[OOC] Solixis says, "Curses."
[OOC] Amy says, "she has the advantage to acceleate straight to Noncombat Move?"
[OOC] Bard says, "Yes"
[OOC] Amy says, "hm. but noncombat speed puts her at half dcv. Will try."
[OOC] Ghost says, "Ghost is acting"
Ghost releases the sword and extends her arm up. Bracing against the front of the truck she waits an instant for the predictive trageting in her headware to settle the reticle on the woman and selecting a Penetrator needle files at her.
[OOC] Ghost says, "4D6 RKA, OCV 8, +4 vs Range."
[OOC] Bard says, "roll it"

The needle peirces the heart of the lady in red, she flies a little bit higher in the air looking at the needle in her chest before plummiting to the ground

The Lady in red splatters across the ground, leaving a crimson mark.
[OOC] X says, "YOUCH"
[OOC] Solixis says, "Ouch, that left a mark."
[OOC] X says, "Just a mark? :P"
[OOC] Kosmos says, "Ouch"
[OOC] Amy blinks.
[OOC] X says, "Note to self: Don't get on Ghost's bad side."
[OOC] Bard says, "15 body and no resistance up against KA's when she flew, in additon X2 body from falling damage and can't apply defenses... she was pretty much dead once ghost decided to do that"
[OOC] Ghost says, "Any of my other Alts would be horrified. Ghost is totally unmoved. She's killed hundreds during her mercenary years, and was a wartime ship commander with a number of enemy ships blown up by her command. One more body isn't any to worry her. I'm just glad that if it happened, it happened to Ghost."
Solixis blinks before asking, "Did you, you know, just kill her?"
[OOC] Amy says, "why 2x BODY fron falling?"
[OOC] X says, "Are we done with combat poses?"
[OOC] Bard says, "Out of combat now"
Ghost looks over at the body. "Looks like it." she answers quite unconcerned.
[OOC] Amy says, "why can't apply defenses to falling? I'm confused."
[OOC] Bard says, "Disads"
Diamond blinks and just stands there, watching.
[OOC] Amy says, "yikes. She's pretty stupid to fly away then. :P"
Kosmos responds, "Yes, though I do wish she could have been apprehended alive. Would have let us get a lead on the suit operators."
X unbraces and jumps off the building, opening wings in mid-air then flies over to the scene, and lands near where the body is. "...A bit...Too much isn't it...?"
The body is in peices and blood is on the closer unluck individuals.
Ghost shrugs, "If you can't take a hit you should stay out of the firefight. I don't recall us attacking them. Seems to me it was the other way around."
Amy looks on in shocked horror. "NO""
X nods slowly. "But was it really nesissary to...kill her?"
[OOC] Bard says, "And Amy to answer why falling, I have a chart that I apply to all my villians a X2 body vs X and I roll dice to see what it was, she just happened to get falling"
Solixis swears in Russian, "I was hoping to avoid death.
[OOC] Bard says, "She had a break fall 20- so I didn't think it'd happen but that seems to be the case..."
Ghost says, "Not my intention. But I won't lose any sleep over it."
Diamond shakes her head to clear it for a moment and looks to start to get mad. She stomps over towards Ghost, "What the hell? YOu stay right there till the cops get here." she says, very upset by the fact that the woman is dead and it looked intentional. Good thing she wasn't an innocent or the diamond lass might just be laying into Ghost.
Kosmos responds to Solixis, also in Russian "So did I, but on a battlefield nothing goes according to plan or your wishes."
The sirens are echoing through teh city walls, people walk out from buildings to look at the body in it's mangled state.
X starts playing sad music in the background to fit the mood, then shakes his head.
Amy runs over to the splat that was the villain, looking for any sign that what happened is not what it seems....
Amy has been a hero long enough to know that villains mostly *aren't* dead when they seem to be.
Unfortunately Amy is met with the damning evidence, the large spike that Ghost had shot from her blade. Bone and brain matter lay all over the ground, and there is enough blood to declare this person dead. Ribs stick through her back and her neck is popping out.
[Speaking Russian] Solixis says, "(To Kosmos) I didn't know you spoke Russian. Still, it was an unnecessary death."
X also no longer has a glowing force field around himself.
Ghost points to the body. "I put a needle in her. All that visible damage. That's from hitting the ground. Any of you that had shot at her with anything capable to rendering her unconscious would have caused the same result. So how many of you wouldn't have shot at her given the chance?"
The sirens draw nearer, so people begin to dispurse, not wanting to be invloved in this in the slightest. People are taking pictures of ghost with camera phones.
Amy doesn't get very close. Actually she looks ill.
[OOC] Bard says, "The needle is still in her, peircing her heart, and the concrete."
[OOC] Ghost says, "Not a large spike. A needle a centimeter long and a millimeter in diameter."
[OOC] Bard says, "Still in her"
[OOC] Ghost says, "Not disagreeing about that, just saying it's small."
[OOC] Bard says, "Also you did it infront of a full coffee house of spectators, my advice, call chandri"
X shakes his head. "I know I wouldn't have taken a shot that could kill someone...unless it was truely nessisary. It might have been defeat if she got away, but someone later would probably have cought her. Now here's a question, why were they here?"
[Speaking Russian] Kosmos says, "Yes, it is unfortunate, I would not have made the shot unless she had escaped from custody two times, or it was known that letting her live would have endangered innocents. However the level of danger presented by her would give some the needed amount of information to decide that lethal action was nessicary."
Diamond looks at Ghost, "That is for the investigators to decide, you chose to use lethal force." she says and shakes her head a bit. She waits and just stands there for a moment.
X walks over to the truck and looks inside, trying to see what was in it.
Amy returns to the others. She's crying.
Solixis moves to comfort Amy.
Kosmos watches looking slightly confused.
X opens one of the truck doors, and gets a piece of paper out. X picks it up and flies to the other to show them. "What do you make of this?" X asks, landing and showing the piece of paper.
Diamond rubs her head a little, something bothering it a bit, but is too busy watching Ghost to go looking at a piece of paper.
Ghost is confused. o O(They attacked. One paid the price of stupidity. What's the big deal?) She turns, "Anyone wants to talk to me I'll be in the coffee shop." she announces and starts towards the door of that establishment.
Just then the cop cars come up, blocking ghost from reaching her destination. Seeing the blood the officers get out tentatively. "What seems to be going on here?" They ask.
Diamond moves to step in front of Ghost, "You are not going anywhere until the cops get here and question and decide whether to arrest you or not." She sticks her hands on her hips. The cops then arrive as well, "A robbery was foiled, bad guys fled, one splatted into the ground after being shot with some kind of projectile fired by this one." she gestures towards Ghost.
"Greetings officer, there was an altercation between us and a group of people seeking to rob local establishments. When we were attacked after Solixis here looked at their van, we defended ourselves. Unfortunately one of the robbers was slain during the scuffle." Kosmos replies
The cops look at eachother. They begin taking everyone's story, starting with Diamond again.
X looks at Kosmos. "So what does the paper say? Or what is it?"
Kosmos turns to X, "Its a list of places they were going to rob."
Diamond gives her statement, starting with how she arrived late, how the villians were starting to flee. And what she saw that led the the splatting of the woman in red. She doesn't gloss anything over.
Amy says, "I dunno what was going on really but when I arrived everyone was fighting and this lady looked like she was really tough and was deflecting attacks and everything but then she flew away and got shot and I guess she wasn't tough after all and she fell and then she went uh splat and I don't know why because most people wouldn't if they fell like that but she's dead!"
The officers write down her statement and move over to get Solixis's.
Solixis says, "I had just walked out of the Cafe when I heard a noise. I went over to the truck to investigate and was attacked. I attempted to use non-lethal force to disable them, but they were quite fast. The woman in red attacked mentally, and she had two accomplices who were driving mini-mechs, being short themselves."
The policemen write this down. "And what happened after that?
Solixis says, "After a couple volleys, the statue and the Lucky Woman arrived and the Woman in red gave the order to retreat and flew up. The girl, taking what seemed to be an act of desperation, shot something at the woman in red, causing her to fall. The two mini-mechs got away, none of us being fast enough to give chase."
The Officers eye Ghost, now that two people have mentioned she shot something that caused the fall. They thank Solixis, and move onto Lady Luck.
Amy launches into her story again. "I don't know what happened I arrived and everyone was already fighting and I don't know why and no one told me but I tried to make sure the bad guys didn't win but the lady seems really tough and knew how to fight and I couldn't even stop her but then she took off and she got shot and fell and she just went splat and I don't know why because she shouldn't have from that height but she did and if she was so easy to hurt then how come she was so dumb to be fighting but she was so I don't know but I'm really sad I couldn't stop her before she did but I tried!
The officers take down the notes. Then thank Lady luck. They interveiw Kosmos next, not aware she's a robot.
Kosmos begins her recounting, "At (insert time) while Solixis was investigating a sound he heard, 2 very short men wearing power-armor burst out of the back of that van" She points to the van, " and attacked Solixis unprovoked. I moved and acted to defend him. At (insert time) I was able to determine that there was also a third person involved. He?" points to X " Investigated this person, who happened to be the now deceased, combat ensued and he" Points to x " was forced to retreat. At (insert time) she" Points to Amy " arrived and attacked the deceased. At (insert time) she" points to Diamond "showed up and attacked one of the power suits. After some exchanging of fire and blows at (insert time) the deceased called for those on her side to withdraw. As they were making a escape we could not catch at (insert time), she" Points to ghost, "Made the shot that lead to the deceased's demise."
Amy says, "It just all happened so fast! I wish I could have saved her...."
Before jumping to conclusions they try to take Ghost's statement
Ghost makes her rendition of the facts straightforwardly,
"I'm sure you've heard what happened from the others. I was going to Past Time's when I saw the fox guy over there get attacked by small mechas exiting from the truck you can see parked here. The attack on the fox guy was unprovoked and without warning. I went to his assistance. During the course of the engagement I fired three times at the woman who is now dead. She avoided any effect from the first two shots. I didn't expect the third shot to have any greater effect.
However she was a mage or mystic, which meant she was a lethal threat to any and all of us while still having line of sight. She could easily have flown away low and got out of sight and firing line behind a building if she was concerned only with retreating. That she flew up and remained in a position to see us could logically only mean she was intending to attack. So I fired a third time. The result was unexpected. However the action was purely in self defense."
The officers discuss between each other. They decide that they best wait until the investigation is over as to cause of death, but they aren't sure. "We'd like to have you come with us." They tell Ghost.
Ghost says, "Am I under arrest?"
X notices something...They got everyone's view on things except his own. X doesn't really like this, but says nothing. The music stop playing.
"You are not under arrest..." the cops admit
Kosmos interjects, "One second officers, there was also this found in the back of the van, it was a list of robbery targets." She shows him the paper.
Ghost says, "Then I decline to accompany you. When you want to talk to me again you can find me in the coffee shop."
the officers take the list and roll their eyes like they've seen this list before. "Thanks." They take down note of Ghost's characteristics, in case it is found later she is the cause of death.
Diamond settles down and her shell seems to soften and then there is almost a sucking sound, the carapace being absorbed back into her body. She shakes her head a little.
Amy asks, "Can we go now?" She still sounds very sad.
[OOC] Bard says, "Scene end, thakns for letting me GM this guys."
Ghost goes over to Amy, "I want to apologize for causing you distress. You were kind to a stranger the first time I saw you and that my action has made you sad is something I deeply regret."
[OOC] Bard says, "Okay... Well this got messy, ended a lot dark than hoped. Kind of was hoping to keep the lady in red."
[OOC] Solixis says, "Wait, we killed an potentially recurring character?"
[OOC] Ghost says, "All you had to do was give her some resistant defense, Bard."
[OOC] Bard says, "Probably not, I mean I still have Lira and she's got duplication so she' more than a handleful."
[OOC] Bard ran out of points ^^;
X sighs. "Notice that I'm the only one who's part of the picture they didn't ask?" X asks the remaining heros.
[OOC] Bard says, "I had a forcefeild on her, but she never got to use it."
[OOC] Ghost says, "With a villain you don't bother with points. You build what you waht him or her to be."
[OOC] Bard puts everything on points because last time he did that he came up with Lira...
[OOC] Ghost says, "So how much defense did she have when flying away?"
[OOC] Bard says, "Lady in red had a long more powers she didn't use, Mindcontrols mainly."
[OOC] Bard says, "She had 25 points of ED and PD, maxing out at 35 with full feild."
[OOC] Ghost says, "And none of that was resistant? And she didn't put the force field up as she was going to be in line of sight after her move? You realize with that x2 falling damage, hitting her with an NND would have killed her."
[OOC] Bard says, "But hey, at least this makes for a more interesting story than standard "Oop villian got away""
[OOC] Bard is sorry if he seemed mean to you Ghost.
[OOC] X has an NND. :D
[OOC] X is glad he didn't end up killing her...Otherwise he'd probably disapear for a while...*flees into the woods*
[OOC] Bard says, "Bard would have commited suiccide from grief."
[OOC] Ghost says, "It would have DESTROYED any of my other Alts."
