Eleven is shopping at the Mall for Amy's b-day gift. Dang nabbit last minute shoppers. everything is so expensive. Jack already went to trip tomorrow.. But there needs to be something else. What is it.. He glances at the jewelery through the glass wondering.

Jennifer is shopping for some new music chips and some light summer clothing

Alex strolls into the mall, walking hand in hand with Philippa.. The couple moves over to where Madison and Caleb are.

Eleven blinks and looks at the ground. "earthquake? Here?"

Caleb looks around a bit uncertainly.

Jennifer thinks . o O (What the...?)

Then the back wall of the jewelry store is blown open.

Sammy catches the second couple out of the corner of her eye, turning quickly. She looks at Madison as if for an explanation, and then realizes she'd met Alex breifly before. Madison looks to Caleb . o O (What's that?)

Jennifer looks around for a sturdy support structure or beam to get beneath the the roof begind to collapse.

Caleb thinks . o O (Beats me. Didn't think we _had_ earthquakes here... maybe a boiler blew, or something.)

"Come on, Phil." Alex tugs on Philippa hand, leading the way through the mall to Sammy, Cale, and Maddie. "You guys feel that?"

The tremors stop, though they ended with something of a bang. THose who made their rolls have a snse the direction they came from.

Fortunately, the mall seems fundamentally intact.

Jennifer thinks . o O (Too localised to be an earthquake. Heck this shopping is boring, let's go check it out)

Caleb nods. "Yeah... dunno what it is. Somethin that way." He points vaguely, uncertaily.

Madison blinks, nodding. "Yeah..." Turns to Sammy, shaking her head. "Stay close, kay, Sam? Just... be prepared to run if I tell you to, right?" Sammy looks insulted. "I took care of myself at dinner that night, didn't I?" Madison gives her one of thoes stern older sister looks which promptly quiets her.

Eleven frowns. "Damn it!" He takes out his gun trying to get a good vantage point.

With a deep roaring laugh Bash bursts out into the jewelry store, shattering display cases as he goes and setting off alarms.'.

Caleb grins.

Alarms begin to sound from the direction of the tremoers.

The twins start moving in the direction the vibration came from.

Madison bites her lip, looking to Cale. "Should.. we check it out, or...?"

Alex looks to Philippa. "I'm going to check it out..." He looks around, guaging the situation. "Phil, maybe you could watch Sammy."

Caleb seems equally uncertain, then nods gratefully to Alex and Phil. "That'd be great... dyou guys mind?"

Eleven runs towards Bash, "Hey stop ruining everything!" He swivels his gun around and attempts to knock some sense into the villain!

Sammy begins to argue, then winces like she got flicked in the head, Madison looking abstractly at the ceiliing. Sammy sighs and speaks to Philippa. "Nice to meet you....I guess we're hanging out."

Philippa says, "No problem. Go get 'em, Lexy." She smiles warmly to Sammy. "Hi, I'm Philippa."

Caleb nods. "Sammy, you're a sweetheart. I owe you one. You too, Phil." He takes off towards the disturbance.

Madison kisses her sister's forehead and darts after Caleb.

Philippa smiles at Caleb. "Yes, but who's keeping track." Her tone is jovial, but with an edge that might make one wonder if she is keeping count.

Caleb calls over his shoulder. "You are... y'always do. Later!"

Eleven runs up to Bash and uses his Gun Butt to smash him! "Punk!"

Philippa waves as the other teens depart. o O ( That's the direction of the jewelry store. I wonder what their getaway plan is... )

Bash looks a little bit surprised as Eleven knocks him over!

In fact, he gets quite upset. Roaring so *everyone* can hear now, he clambers to his feet and takes a wild swing at Eleven.

Alex rushes off. Instead of heading directly to the scene of the crime, he tries to find an out of the way place to slip his mask and goggles on.

Eleven flies off from the hit but tumbles back to his feet. "Oof.. Not bad.. Is that all you got?" He's feeling the pain, but he tries not to show it.

Bash's bony fists knock Eleven clean out the door of the jewelry store.

Eleven thinks . o O (There are too many people about to shoot..)

Caleb blinks. "Jack? What the --"

Jennifer thinks . o O (Ah, that's where the trouble is.)

Caleb thinks . o O (Heh. I'm thinkin' I should change outfits for this party.)

Ssomeone else comes out of the back wall now, but almost too fast to see! Whoever it is seems to be looting the place rather than joining the fight.

Caleb looks for a secluded spot to change IDs.

Madison blinks, remembering Jack as eleven, glaring a bit. . o O (That *beep*? Okay hun, see you in a few.)

Eleven doesn't even look at Caleb. He shouts, "Someone at the back wall. Speedy Gonzalez taking the goods."

Given the attention the fight is drawing, such spots are easy enough to find....

Madison attempts to move so that she can see whoever is causing the problem.

Midnight returns as soon as he can.

Rebound returns as quickly as possible as well.

"Speedy Gonzales" is seen by both Jack and the twins continuing to loot the place.

Jennifer waits until it's not unreasonable for a well trained normal to start acting. She approachs Bash and takes up a position in front of him holding ready to react with a block or dodge if he strikes at her. Jessica steps to the side of the door and does likewise. "Okay, I guess you've heard this before but this is a citizen's arrest. So down on the ground and stay still."

Eleven grumbles to the twins, "Never mind him, get Speedy."

Bash seems unimpressed by Jennifer and more concerned with the guy with the gun.

Jessica grins, "Eleven, the fast guy in in the store. Mr Big Guy here is in the doorway. I could jump through the window but... nuh. they have to come to me."

Eleven frowns and aims his gun at Fire extinguisher trying to cause a distraction for Dash.

Dash splutters in surprise as the fire extinguishers spray hits her!

However, she keeps her feet.

Eleven threaten's Dash, "NExt time it'll be your kneecaps, Surrender!"

Bash roars, "Hey, look what you're doing with that toy!" and launches himself at Eleven!

Jessica squats and sweep with an extended legs striking at Bash's ankles, aiming to knock his feet out from under him as he makes the lunge and if successful drop Bash painfully to the ground in front of the doorway a few feet from where he started out.

Jennifer fails to knock Bash down with Jessica but he has to bull his way past her to get to Eleven, so she stands her ground until he is about to bowl her over, then drops into a sacrifice throw attempting to toss Bash over her head and then roll back to her feet.

Jennifer and Bash both fall but Jennifer rolls neatly back onto her feet, while Bash tries the ground out for size with his face.

Jennifer stands over the prone Bash and tells him, "Stay down there."

Bash pounds the floor instead of Jack in his frustration. "Damn it, this wasn't supposed to happen!"

Dash rushes through the hole in the wall with what she's managed to collect in her arms already, with hardly a look back at Bash.

Midnight arrives (with Rebound?) around the back, as the twins suggested earlier, and sees what there is to see.

Caleb (and Alex?) will see Bash on shattered floor with one of the twins standing over him, Jack and other twin nearby.

Midnight moves in the direction Jessica indicated, hoping to spot the speed bird.

Eleven frowns. "Damn it! I wanted to buy that necklace too! Now she has it!" He swivels his gun around and smashes with all his might on the Bash guy.

Midnight finds a crude tunnel at the back of the store, and dash long gone.

The floor creaks unhappily....

Bash's bony plates, unfortunately, seem to deflect most of the blow.

Jessica crouches down at the side of the prone Bash and tries to take his arm into an arm-lock to hold him down.

Rebound hops up a handful of feet in the hair, just enough to get his feet clear of the ground and glide out through the front of the store. He touches down next to the pinned behemoth.

Bash grumbles, "Where the hell did you lot come from?" Instead of trying to break free, he kicks at the floor from the knee...

Jennifer gives a quiet cry of delight as Rebound arrives, "Oh thank heavens a Cape has come. We're saved." she gushes wide eyed.

Midnight snorts.

The floor groans - and gives....

A smile cracks Rebound's straight expression. It's brief though.

Jennifer says, "Oh bother!"

Bash and Jessica - and anyone else standing too close - begin to fall through the floor.

Jessica tumbles through the hole in the floor along with Jennifer and Bash.

Rebound falls through the hole as well. "Woah!"

Madison eyes widen as she attempts to catch the twins and Rebound before toppling through the floor.

Eleven falls in with the Bash and twins. "Argh!!"

Madison pulls the twins back up, letting them land carefully on the floor that is still firm and safe.

Eleven looks around to see where he is at.

Jennifer and Jessica give Madison waves and smiles, "Thank you. I'll be okay now. Rebound and Eleven might need help too."

Madison nods and smiles, moving closer, peering down. She frowned a bit at Eleven, but calls. "Want help, guys?"

This is the basement of the mall. It's actually old abandoned shops! But they were too far out of the way to be profitable, and now none of them are open any more. SOme space is rented for storage.

Rebound dusts himself off. He says to Bash. "Nice trick, but I think you've run out of levels to escape through."

Bash gets up, grumbling. "You might be right."

Madison eyes widen a little as Bash gets up, shaking her head. She bit her lip, focusing on Bash.

Midnight runs up to the edge of the hole. "OK, Speedy's taken care of. Need help bringin' the tank down?" He points a fist at Bash's head. (full move)

Rebound nods up to Midnight and Madison. "Let's do it."

The twins are in too public an area to continue helping out now 'real Capes' have arrived.

Rebound's fist swells to the size of a mailbox and he holds it over bash, threatening to bring it down over his head. "I'd suggest that you stay down, until the authorities arrive."

Eleven tries to cover Bash with his gun. "Your dead buddy. Don't make a move."

Eleven has Bash covered. *click*

Midnight says, "You feelin' lucky, punk?"

Bash grins, "Or you could be wrong!" and starts pounding at a furious rate at the ground beneath his feet.....

Rebound stumbles a bit over the fallen rubble, failing to get his fist into position.

Eleven thinks that Bash is heavily armored and tries a shot.

BLAM!

10 bullets left.

Rebound blinks. "Holy!..." . o O ( I knew Eleven was reckless, but this ?! )

Midnight thinks . o O (Wow... he really _does_ shoot people with that thing!)

Bash emits an inhuman howl of pain as the bullet lodges itself in the bones of his head! But he doesn't slow down, digging a tunnel at amazing speed into the ground and then turning to collapse it behind him....

Madison blinks, stumbling backwards from the sight of it.

Eleven curses in Chinese, "I want my necklace!!"

The tunnel caves in behind the wounded villain.

Eleven goes over and tries to Dig. "Help me! He's getting away!"

Rebound jumps and tries to grab Eleven. "You maniac!"

Eleven tries to shake Rebound off. "Let go of me you punk! Get the criminal!"

"Why?" Rebound shouts, "So you can finish the job?!"

Midnight eventually gets around to phasing through the tunnel...

Midnight thinks . o O (Mad, can you track 'im like you did Jace?)

Eleven stops at Rebounds words. He raises a fist ready to punch him out. "Maybe.. But to find out where the speedster went, you idiot!"

Madison . o O (I can try... Just... Jace is a lot easier than a stranger.)

Midnight thinks . o O (Actually, never mind... I got him. Just get through the mouth soon's you can.)

Madison grumbles and moves to the hole in the floor, using flight to float down,then shoves aside the two guys ingaged in a measuring contest. "Move." It was one of the first times she said anything forcefully.

Midnight solidifies when he get through the caved-in rubble. "Dude... You don't think it's gonna be that easy, do you?" He concentrates and fires.

Rebound continues to try and hold Eleven, grabbing from behind and stretching his neck to talk face to face with him.. "I don't get you, Eleven..." he says, squinting. MAdison's command to 'move' bring him back to the present. Reluctantly he lets go of the gunman. "I'll keep my eye on you."

Midnight says, "OK... _that_ was a warning shot."

Madison begins using tk as well as her hands to head through the rubble.

Eleven frowns as Rebound actually grabs him. He takes a swing at the rubber boy, before getting out of Madison's way.

Bash is knocked down, which is a good thing....

Rebound takes the punch from Eleven. It's like punching silly putty.

Bash roars and gets to his feet, pushing himself off the end wall of the tunnel to land next to Midnight....

Eleven frustrated, he goes to see how the twins are doing.

Bash looks scarier point-blank.

Midnight tries to come up with something cool and witty, but the truth is that freaked him.

Madison . o O (I'm trying, sweetheart, just...it's slow going!)

Midnight thinks . o O (No sweat, babe... he can't touch me less I want him to. (sense that he's really freaked though))

Madison glares at the others fighting in the area, not stopping digging. "Are you two going to help, or beat on each other?"

Rebound looks down to the rubble blocking Bash's escape route. He sighs and heads over to help.

Midnight backs up 3" down the tunnel and fires again...

The blast narrowly misses Bash, who runs in and attempts a good old clobbering.

Eleven goes to dig.

Midnight flies against the far wall, too stunned to roll, and ends up flat on his back.

The rubble you're digging through suddenly shifts a bit of itself as a faint thud is heard.

Midnight thinks . o O (Ow.)

Bash grins and advances on Midnight.....

Rebound shouts, "Midnight!" Rebound tries to punch his fist through the rubble blocking the entranceway, and then grow his arm, to push the remaining debris aside.

It seems hours, but is probably only seconds before you're through to Midnight. But the next bit of tunnel is now collapsed....

Jennifer and Jessica step closer to the edge of the hole in the floor trying to see what is happening down there from all appearences, but Jessica stumbles, grabs at Jennifer, and with a squeal they tumble down through it.

Midnight is crumpled, though oddly uninjured, in a heap at the base of the tunnel.

Eleven kicks at the dirt and rubble. "God damn it!:

Rebound molds himself into roundish shape, and tumbles down towards Midnight. He flips out of his bouncing shape, landing on his back in his normal form a little awkwardly. He pushes himself up to his knees and checks on Midnight.

Eleven goes back to the jewelery store to see if he can track down the speedster. (Tracking 12-)

Jennifer says, "asks worriedly, "Is he okay?""

Eleven finds that the tunnels come out in sewers eventually. Interesting: Dash was on two feet to start with, then paused and changed to 4. on 4 she seems to be stupidly fast, to judge by the tracks.

Entry and exit seems to have been through storm drains. Eleven loses the tracks in the sea.

[Eleven subsequently learns no one seems to have heard of Bash and Dash at all - this is the first time anyone of this description has been seen. They haven't been seen about, despite their conspicuous appearances.]
