An Open Letter to the Count d'Estres of the Estates of Medellii:

Dear Sir,

I understand that you have been engaging in activities within the boundaries of this city that are both illegal and without merit befitting a man of your station. As this city's appointed chosen protector in light of Bolt's departure, and my appointment to that role as per the departure of that august body, you have delivered an insult to this city that can only be settled with force. I call you a coward, hiding behind your genetically engineered minions and cheap chemical tricks. In answer to the insult that you have delivered to my city, I hereby challenge you to a duel. No matter what weapon you choose, it does not matter. I need none other than my own personal skills in hand to hand combat to defeat you. Your cowardly actions shall be answered for in a manner befitting one of your station, even though you do not deserve it. Should you refuse to pick up this gauntlet, this city will know you for the coward that you are in truth, and what is left of your miserable excuse for a good name shall be shattered. The duel shall be named at a time and place of my choosing, since I do not care what weapons you choose. If you should accept this gauntlet, please respond in kind within this very paper. By spreading drugs within the limits of this city, and attempting to cause the deaths of thousands, you have delivered an insult not just to this city, but to every citizen and person within it that I have sworn to protect. I declare that you are not worthy to be called of noble blood, and despise you as nothing but a commoner fit to till fields. I defy you to prove otherwise on the field of battle.
