"Greetings everyone!", annouces a cheerful Barbara Wawa at her news desk. "Spring is here in Colonial Bay and we know what that means right? It is time for the third Annual Best of the Best Competition. This year, Best of the Best III is co-sponsored by two lovely ladies. Serena Leung, owner of the Dragon Palace, and Dr. Ellbeth Wyrd, best selling author!" The camera fades away from Barbara Wawa as clips from last year's Best of the Best competition fly by the screen. "Can you be the best?" <Picture of Frost Angel winning the final competition and the overall championship> "Or will you be the rest?" <Picture of competitor Stat faltering in the final stages and then a clip of him being led to jail from his latest outing.> The screen now shows an aerial view of the Dragon Palace on Ming Street West.
"Taking over from where her brother left off, Serena Leung has promised the best athletes, the most exciting heroes, and strongest metahumans ever to compete.", Wawa states, "To compete, please sign up at the Dragon Palace. This year there will be cash prizes award to top finishers of each event. A magical mystery prize will be awarded to the grand champion of the competition. What will it be?" From the Dragon Palace, the camera takes the viewers to a large colliseum at the edge of Colonial Bay. "The sponsors are taking the competition back to where it started! To where the first Best of the Best has its events! Who will be the strongest?" <Picture of Fortitude in battle lifting a giant robot> "Who will be the fastest?" <Clip of Ricky dashing through the streets of the city> "Who will be the BEST??" <Clips of previous champions, Beta Zu winning the first Martial Arts Competition, Frost Angel soaring up high in victory, Syphon grappling with Stat, Tundra falling over from a strength pull.> "You can be the best! Just sign up now at the Dragon Palace!"
The camera focuses back on Barbara Wawa. "It should be a great event this year. We can't wait." A clever smile and the news continues...
