Images from previous Best of the Best tournaments are shown. Metas are lifting cars, boats, space shuttles... Heroes racing through traps, fire, electricity... champions lifting trophies, awarded medals. Yes it is time once again.. for Best of the Best tournament. Past winners are shown, Beta Zu from 2052, Princess Jundarra from 2053, Syphon from 2054, and Princess Jundarra once again in 2055. Bernie Sham is at the CBN Studio to report.
Sham: "This years marks the fifth time that Colonial Bay is hosting the annual tournament where metas test their strength, skill, and speed in 4 different events. At the end one will be crowned Grand Champion of the games and will be known as the Best of the Best. The tournament has evolved over the years going from having a champion at each event to now featuring a grand champion after the games are done. This year, the games will evolve once more. Nike-Adidas, the main sponsor of the games, and the city has seen the emergence of several meta teams in Colonial Bay and wishes to seek the Best of the Best of meta teams. So this year... Best of the Best V will be a team competition! Teams will have until the first week of March to enter into the competition. Invites have been given to the existing teams. It should be a grand competition. Tickets are on sale online, by phone, and at the Coliseum off Route 9. Who will be this years Best of the Best?"
<OOC: Best of the Best V Plot is run by Asylum. This year it will be a team competition. If you are not on a team and wish to compete, find a team or make a team with at least 3 members that will show up to the scenes. Scenes will be held on weekdays starting between 3 and 4 pm. Let me know what days are absolutely impossible for you and I will try to make a more reasonable schedule. The plot will have a scene once a week starting next week for Opening Ceremonies. This plot will last 5-6 weeks. Events will be known during opening ceremonies.>
