A large group of Colonial Bay crimefighters amassed in the suburbs of the city and participated in what witnesses called a superfight. It started in the middle of the afternoon when a girl of glowing hot energy emerged from the ground and started to fly towards the city. Authorities have confirmed the identity of this woman as a superpowered fugitive from a Chinese prison codenamed Radium. Radium was swiftly confronted by the gathered heroes: Detective Akeno, Kibin, Icon, Heavy Metal Princess, Lightray, the Markham twins, and Variable. The heroes managed to defeat Radium, who is now in UEMS custody.

In other crime news, officers from the Colonial Bay Police and the Virginia State Police dealt organized crime a serious blow when they raided a farm in rural Virginia that was serving as a landing strip for drug smugglers. Acting on a tip from local crimefighters, the authorities confiscated a private airplane and $20 million worth in drugs. The farm is believed to belong to the Triad crime organization helmed by Pride Tien Leung.
