Barbara sits in the CBN studio, across from a costumed fellow with two large tanks on his back and a pretzel symbol emblazoned on the front of his spandex tights. "Good evening, this is Barbara Wawa reporting for CBN and today we have in studio, the latest self-proclaimed superhero to hit the streets of Colonial Bay. Now, you call yourself the Pretzel Man?"
The man nods, "Indeed I do Barbara. You see, the tanks on my back contain everything I need to fight crime. Whether it's a stunning blast of salt to knock the villains off their feet or my incredibly sticky streams of pretzel dough, those villains never know what hit them!"
Barabara nods understandingly as she continues, "And I understand you've already had success capturing a major supervillain in your old hometown?"
Pretzel Man grins widely as he replies, "Indeed I did. I foiled the nearly unstoppable Snailwoman. Oh, it was a hard fought battle, but I emerged triumphant, if a bit slimy at the end."
Barbara pauses in mid question as a three-foot figure in a shiny old-fashioned NASA-style spacesuit shimmers into view right in front of her. The mini-spaceman announces, "Here me Who-Mams. I hereby declare Colonial Bay to be a Primate Reserve. All Who-Mams who refuse to depart the city immediately shall face the wrath of SPACE MONKEY and his horde of enraged Monkey Minions and Great Ape Guardians. That is all." With that, Space Monkey shimmers out of view once more, while Pretzel Man futilely fiddles with his unfortunately clogged salt blaster.
Barbara quickly recovers and continues, "You've seen it here first. A new supervillain has threatened the safety and security of Colonial Bay. Will our city's brave heroes rise to the challenge. Or will they prove as impotent as a saltless pretzel?"
Pretzel Man raises a hand as he is about to object, but the closing credits run before he's allowed to get a word in edgewise.
