Battle at the Courthouse

This afternoon the local CitiCongolomerate branch was attacked by a villainess identifying herself only as 'Miasma'. The attack began in the late afternoon when the villain emerged inside the bank and attacked bank security guard Ralph Huckabee, who is in critical condition at Colonial Bay Memorial Hospital. While the villain cut through the bank's vault bank patrons and employees left the scene, leaving no hostages for Miasma.

Local heroines Jolt, Sable, Silver Spider and the alien known as Rapture soon arrived on the scene following the establishment of a police blockade. After a battle inside the bank that involved tripping the fire suppression system Miasma was subdued by the heroines. The villainess, who is considered extremely dangerous and required a full hazmat team to move, was relocated to the metahuman wing of the Colonial Bay jail and placed in special confinement for testing. Efforts are still underway to identify the villain. CitiConglomerate officials are skeptical that the bank will reopen any time soon. In addition to being the site of a battle and suffering extensive water damage officials say that a strange, foul rotting odor has taken root in the structure.
