The screen flashes red with the words "Devastator Update" before focusing on Barbara Wawa.
"I'm Barbara Wawa. Early Thursday morning, witnesses reported seeing the Annihilator above some cargo containers near the docks. Explosions and energy bolts were heard between the containers. Shortly after the sounds, some containers collapsed in on each other, and Halo rocketed upward from among the crates, carrying an injured man. The identity of the individual is currently unknown, but it is believed that he is in the emergency room at Colonial Bay Hospital, clinging to life."
Just after this, the Annihilator leaped into the water and was gone. (An artist's rendition of the Annihilator appears. He is a heavily armored man, with a skull helmet in black and silver highlights to his massive gauntlets. His boots are as thick as his gauntlets. There is nothing slender about him, from the thick armored metal greaves to the articulated muscles carved into his chest. There is a large A on his belt buckle, the whole picture seeming almost robotic.) "Police have warned people to leave the area if he is spotted. Even superheroes are cautioned that engaging him may result in severe bodily injury or death."

The news continues with an ad for Loafy Loaf, the Loafiest Bread ever to be made into a Loaf.
