This weekend, heroes helped avert tragedy by rescuing patrons from a fire at a popular Ming Street restaurant. In the middle of the day, a fire started at Joe's Shanghai restaurant during the busy lunchtime rush. The fire quickly grew out of control and endangered the staff and customers alike. Thankfully, some of Colonial Bay's Mightiest arrived to prevent any loss of life: Jennifer Markham, Kibin, Detective Akeno, Lorelei, and a strange girl dressed all in black. Police would not comment on the cause of the fire, but sources indicate that the blaze was set deliberately, as a strike in some kind of war between rival triad gangsters.
