Democrat Martin Danzinger and Republican Tom Shoffnaus have engaged in one of the most bitterly contested battles for the hearts and minds of the population in the history of Colonial Bay. Polls show a dead heat, with fifty percent of the population swayed towards each candidate."

"Martin has begun looking for investors to help him renovate Harrisburg, as per his primary campaign promise, despite Mr. Shoffnaus's claims that it is too expensive to do so. Mr. Danzinger has even placed his own personal finances into the renovation effort, which is currently 32 percent complete. Mr. Danzinger has scheduled a special press conference for Monday afternoon at 1 PM, in Harrisburg, where he will outlay his plans for the completion of renovations. His calls to debate Mr. Shoffnaus remain unanswered, despite repeated outcries from Mr. Danzinger's camp."
