March 27, 2059: A Colonial Bay Police Officer was killed by the supervillain known as Miasma during a botched prisoner transfer. Miasma broke out of containment around ten o'clock local time and critically wounded one officer before killing another. CBPD sources declined to comment on the nature of the transfer that led to a dangerous villain being alone with two police officers on a rural Virginia highway, but they insist that the transfer was not routine operating procedure and that the case was under investigation. Local heroes Sable and Dragon Guardian responded to the incident in record time, preventing Miasma's escape. According to sources in United Earth the supervillain has been classified dangerous enough to be removed to Tranquility Prison where she will stand trial.
