"I'm Barbara Wawa, with CBN News. Today's top story is the attack by the Devastator on the Harrisburg Charity Fundraiser, where the Annihilator appeared along with a small army of cyborgs armed with Freon Guns, and attempted to kill Tom Schoffnaus, the Republican candidate for Mayor. Reports are still coming in about the heroic efforts of several of Colonial Bay's finest superheroes to save Schoffnaus.
"During the confrontation, the Devastator appeared again, announcing his intentions to kill Tom Schoffnaus. The Annihilator was only stopped by the combined efforts of many of Colonial Bay's superheroes, including Lightray, Spirit, and this creature.

"Annihilator made his escape over the water, and landed in the ocean, where he has not been seen since the assault. Two more people died of injuries sustained during the conflict, and seven more were taken to the hospital, of which one is in critical condition. The Devastator's reign of terror continues unabated in Colonial Bay. He has been upgraded by the Supervillain Threat Index to number three on currently active threats, although his acts of brutal terror seem confined to Colonial Bay and it's environs.
Tom Schoffnaus's campaign manager, Dieter Brock, had this to say. "We believe that the Danzinger Family had a hand in inviting Mr. Schoffnaus to this event. We are not saying anything else."
