Description
The Swordsman is a familiar face amongst the rank of Colonial Bay's costumed career criminals. At a glance he's a well-built man in his fifties, with kempt white hair and a similarly white beard. He stands over six feet tall with a commanding air to the way he carries himself. He wears an eyepatch to cover his right eye, which he lost during a previous caper. A scar that parts his right eyebrow and runs down his right cheek also marks the injury.
The Swordsman's equipment is styled like a medieval warrior's, but is lightweight and bears modern-day improvements. His chainmail is lightweight, and beneath it, he wears an energy-reflective tunic. Of course, he is never without his trademark sword, a realistic looking broadsword that looks like it might have been handed down from the Middle Ages.

As his name implies, the Swordsman is trained to fight with his trademark broad sword. He doesn't have any special powers; instead relying on his training and a set of medieval themed weapons. He's also a skilled commander, and often trains and leads his own team of henchmen.
Personality
Despite being a criminal, the Swordsman has earned a reputation as being professional and honorable.

The Swordsman has a son, Vance.
History
The Swordsman enjoyed a relatively successful career as a costumed villain in the Colonial Bay area.
Plot: Death of a Swordsman
In the summer of 2057, the Swordsman learned that he was suffering from terminal cancer. Determined to die doing his job, he challenged Sword Dancer to a duel to the death. During the fight, however the Swordsman's son, Vance, showed up and revealed the Swordsman's diagnosis. Together with Vice, Sword Dancer convinced the Swordsman to abandon the duel and to life out the rest of his life. He escaped the police with the help of Vice and Sword Dancer.
