Those Who Sit in Shadow

A mysterious group of spirits who seek domination over the world.

(Note: The title "Those Who Sit in Shadow" is a translation, and many variant forms exist, none of which are canonical. For brevity they are sometimes just called "Those Who.")

These spirits are strongly opposed to the Spirits of Life and in consequence seek to neutralize them, their goals, their champions, and ultimately to sterilize all life on Earth. Locally, they primarily act to discredit Dancing Coyote and destroy his effectiveness as a spiritual leader.

Little is known about the individual members of this group... one theory is they represent now-extinct species who seek vengeance for their extinction.

In the past, Those Who have become involved in Colonial Bay by sending The Dark Coyote (a more powerful doppleganger) to impersonate Dancing Coyote and also, somewhat surprisingly, by sending agents to participate in Best of the Best 2006 (see http://www.championsmush.com/wiki/Best_of_the_Best_2006%2C_Scene_3).

In the future they can be counted on to work to discredit Dancing Coyote in a variety of ways -- sending agents to defeat him publicly in battle, planting rumors about him, framing him for crimes, and so forth.
