Waterman Oceanarium

One of Colonial Bay's premier tourist attractions the Waterman Oceanarium contains a large-scale aquarium, an IMAX theatre, a planetarium and an observatory.

The observatory is actively involved in education and public outreach programs, and works in close cooperation with Starguard and Colonial Bay's resident extra-terrestrial population to expand and correct astronomical databases. The larger part of this work is computational and theoretical since direct astrophysical observations are severely limited by proximity to sea-level (and associated meteorological phenomena), and light and air pollution from the city.

The aquarium however benefits from an ideal location and the relatively pristine condition of the island, and boasts a high-class team of marine biologists and oceanographers who conduct regular survey and research voyages.

Underground facility

Beneath the oceanarium lies a well-appointed subterranean complex that has been occupied by Safeguard with the intention of establishing a secure base of operations.
